moving the address bar to the bottom of the screen Moving the address bar to the bottom of the screen for easy access
Smart Board is really big an thus it is so hard to reach to the top of the screen to use the board unless you are 6 feet tall. In my profession, rarely people are that tall. So, please provide the option of moving the address bar to the bottom of the screen so that we do not need to pull a muscle while teaching and trying to use the smart tv.

Security permissions and Tags Allow the Tags for User Accounts to function as you would expect. If I have a Technician in charge of three buildings and I have the Boards tagged for Building Codes, I would expect to be able to limit that user to engage their permissions on just those devices with those tags. This currently does not work.

Allow granular security permissions for User Accounts Currently in RMS you can choose between 'Admin, User, Observer, Techer' and these permissions do not make much sense. It would be nice to set Granular Permissions to certain accounts like if I want my Help Desk to only be able to Remote Control Boards.

Account and Login Issues On a fully updated MX series panel, signing into the SMART panel using the face icon limits the user's ability to sign in to Microsoft Office 365 in the browser. The login screen will not appear, leaving a white screen.
We tried this with two different users signing into the panel. Both received the same results.
When no one is signed into the panel, this behavior does not appear.How to replicate:
1. Use the face icon to sign into the panel using our Microsoft credentials.
2. Open browser and go to office.com.
3. Click Sign In.

Add the input method "Cangjie" or "Hand writing" for Chinese Please add the input method "Cangjie" or "Hand writing" for Chinese input. Sometime we need to search some picture or topic in Chinese at Browser. But now it is just only "Pinyin" input method for Chinese. The "Pinyin" is difficult for Hong Kong Users. Thanks !

Display 2 Chrome windows at the same time It would be great to be able to display 2 chrome windows at the same time. You can have timer or directions on one and another for the activity.

SMART Global Service Region When you are logged into an account on the display.
The option to change the region disappers in the settings.

Animations Don't know if this is the right forum, as I think my new flat panel is a 6000 series, not 7000. Anyway, the tech team hooked it up to a Chrome Book, not a PC, so I seems to have limited functionality (just SN Player, not full SN). Some animations I created in SN 18 seem to work, such as spin around, but other's don't (such as Shrink & Grow). In the attached file, the watering can should shrink & grow (to simulate watering the flowers). Do you know which animations work and which don't?

Ability to lock or disable video inputs : We would like the ability to disable or force a specific video input.
There is no ability to disable inputs in the configuration of our SPNL-6000 series boards.

Add language support for Hebrew Smarttech needs to expand their Language support, particularly Hebrew needs to be added.. this is the list that you ONLY support which is quite limited at best.

Thank you for the feedback. Language support is generally added based on sales volume. We don’t currently have support for right to left languages, so Hebrew would be difficult to add. Keep an eye on this suggestion to see if circumstances change.

Display usage Time in hours/minutes Most commercial Displays and Projectors keep a usage/hour counter. This is vital for asset management and return on investment metrics.
I.e. for establishing how often the screen is actually utilised by end users.

As a modular appliance in the OPS slot, the iQ system doesn’t have integration at the level required to do this type of reporting.
This will be considered on future panels that integrate SMART iQ and the display scaler.

Kapp App/Whiteboard Support-Chromebooks Chromebooks need to be supported by the Kapp app.
Currently the only way for our teachers to initiate a Whiteboard sharing session is by downloading and launching the app on their personal phones. When they download the app on their Chromebooks, it gets stuck on "connecting" after scanning the QR code. Smart support confirmed there is currently no support for Chromebooks/ChromeOS.

We’re working on a better whiteboard experience that can share directly through the cloud without needing another device.
Our Workspaces activity that’s currently available in SMART Learning Suite Online uses this new sharing capability now – for information on that, check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6Of4Sc9bNA
We’ll assess the need to bring the kapp mobile app to Chrome OS later this summer.

Shout out! app The Shout out! app has such potential! It would be really nice if the teacher can load content on the screen for the students to respond to. For example, imagine for a language class, a stack of flashcards that is pre-edited, and students can use the buzzer to verbally respond to it, or type the response. Please add the function to load content onto the screen.

Saving on Notebook Player when using the SMART Ink app When I upload an image with the SMART Ink App and then send it to the board there is no way for me to save the edits which I make to this! Every time I leave the document I lose all changes and it reverts to it's original saved format. When this be fixed?
