Screen Share incoming connection identification
It would be a great feature to have some identification method for incoming connections (before the connection authorization itself), as a way to have non requested connections attempts under control within the classroom.

I want to change the default pen size and color and change the side of the screen the toolbar is on in the IQ Whiteboard.
I also want to change what side of the screen the toolbar is on in the built in whiteboard.

Changing a pen's default appearance within SMART iQ
Hi SMART,
It would be really great if it's possible to change the default pen/ink thickness within SMART iQ whiteboard and annotation layer (like changing a pen's default appearance within SMART Notebook by using the properties tab).

Disabled Message on Display

Whiteboardbackrounds in a better, clearer quality . Existing are blurry.

Clear Canvas Function in Whiteboard
Few versions back we were allowed to clear the canvas, but after updating we can't or it was taken away. Please add this function back!!! Instead of adding pages, we just would like to clear the whiteboard.

Board Sharing Code
Teachers in our district would currently like to share SMART Notebook presentations from their laptop to other Teachers boards in the school building. As of right now getting the code for their board is somewhat cumbersome. The teachers are logged into the board with their school email, but have to log out of the board to see the code. The code is found by clicking on the icon on the right that looks like a cell phone/tablet. That icon disappears when they log into the board with their email. This typically wouldn't be a problem, but the board code changes/times…
4 votesThanks for the feedback. I understand the frustrations with pairing a board using the board code. We’re currently working on a solution that will greatly simplify this by getting rid of the board code in an upcoming release.
The plan is to SMART Notebook files that are uploaded to suite.smarttech.com to also be accessible from within the board’s Files Library when the teacher logs in to the board with the same account.

Security permissions and Tags
Allow the Tags for User Accounts to function as you would expect. If I have a Technician in charge of three buildings and I have the Boards tagged for Building Codes, I would expect to be able to limit that user to engage their permissions on just those devices with those tags. This currently does not work.

Allow granular security permissions for User Accounts
Currently in RMS you can choose between 'Admin, User, Observer, Techer' and these permissions do not make much sense. It would be nice to set Granular Permissions to certain accounts like if I want my Help Desk to only be able to Remote Control Boards.

Account and Login Issues
On a fully updated MX series panel, signing into the SMART panel using the face icon limits the user's ability to sign in to Microsoft Office 365 in the browser. The login screen will not appear, leaving a white screen.
We tried this with two different users signing into the panel. Both received the same results.
When no one is signed into the panel, this behavior does not appear.How to replicate:
1. Use the face icon to sign into the panel using our Microsoft credentials.
2. Open browser and go to office.com.
3. Click Sign In.

Add the input method "Cangjie" or "Hand writing" for Chinese
Please add the input method "Cangjie" or "Hand writing" for Chinese input. Sometime we need to search some picture or topic in Chinese at Browser. But now it is just only "Pinyin" input method for Chinese. The "Pinyin" is difficult for Hong Kong Users. Thanks !

Animations
Don't know if this is the right forum, as I think my new flat panel is a 6000 series, not 7000. Anyway, the tech team hooked it up to a Chrome Book, not a PC, so I seems to have limited functionality (just SN Player, not full SN). Some animations I created in SN 18 seem to work, such as spin around, but other's don't (such as Shrink & Grow). In the attached file, the watering can should shrink & grow (to simulate watering the flowers). Do you know which animations work and which don't?

Ability to lock or disable video inputs :
We would like the ability to disable or force a specific video input.
There is no ability to disable inputs in the configuration of our SPNL-6000 series boards.
Even better would be to be able to include this in the USB configuration file.4 votes
