Smartmirror App Scroll funktion for available Displays
Usability issue in the SmartMirror Windows app in school:
When more than 4 boards are available, the selection list cannot be fully used because there is no scrolling functionality. As a result, boards further down the list cannot be selected.Resolution:
The board selection list should support vertical scrolling when there are more entries than can be displayed in the visible area.
Scrolling should be possible using the mouse wheel, a scrollbar, and touch gestures.1 vote -

When broadcasting through SMART Mirror, I would like connected participants to receive a prompt stating that a broadcast has started. This allows already participating users to join and view the broadcast without having to disconnect and reconnect to see this prompt.

SMART Mirror: Option to display or not display the session ID
Add option to display or not display the session id on the "casted" stream when using SMART Mirror on NX as well as QX displays. Session ID currently shows on top of the castes video. Client does not want the session ID displayed. Currently there is no option in the préférences for this functionality. Client requests the option to display the session ID on the casted stream or not be added in the session configuration menu.

Shorter SMART Mirror Pairing Code (Local Network)
SMART Mirror App pairing code is 10 digits, which when entering multiple times throughout a day has started to frustrate staff at my large school.
I know it is because it can be accessed over the internet and it is to avoid double ups. But we are using ours only on local network (with the “local only” setting turned on).
If that setting is enabled, can it be made into like a 4 digit code?

The capability to move the Smart Mirror Toolbar
When sharing a screen in Smart mirror the toolbar on the top middle of the screen is not adjustable to move. Would like to be able to drag and adjust when needed like the toolbar in whiteboard. I might need it at the bottom of the screen or in the corner so I can show the students the content at the top without having the toolbar block it.

SmartMirror Touchback for selected shared screen (Screen 1, 2, etc)
Allow Smart Mirror touchback control to work with whichever screen is selected to share. Currently it only works with the "Primary" display. If Screen 1 is the primary display on the computer, then touchback works on that screen but if you select to share Screen 2, it is visual only with no touch-back control.

Add a close icon button to the SMART mirror floater window
Add a close icon button to the SMART mirror floater that remains visible on screen once SMART mirror is activated. This floater can be disabled from the Settings, but this is not obvious to teachers/faculty who are used to being able to close floating (undocked) dialog boxes either by swiping off screen, swiping to an onscreen ⓧ, or clicking on a close icon on the floating dialog box. The floater is persistent even after the SMART mirror session is over unless disabled in the Settings.

Screen Share Lock
There needs to be a way that IT or the teacher can assign a password and not a pin that is on the board for students to see, that will lock the boards screen share to that teacher only. This will stop the issue of any student or teachers just clicking any device under their cast feature on their browser and broadcasting to the board. I deal with this multiple times daily that a student or teacher has taken over a board that is not in the room they are in.

Support for Proxy in SMART Mirror
Hi SMART,
Please add support for proxy settings in a network when using the SMART Mirror app for iOS/iPadOS. The SMART Mirror app won't find the SMART Display if using proxy settings in the network and the SMART Mirror app for iOS/iPadOS.

Silent Installer for Smart Mirror
Need MSI or supported options for silent installation for the Smart Mirror application for windows. This needs to be easy to deploy for IT departments.

Better Whiteboard in Screen/Smart Mirror
When using the new Screen/Smart mirror app you have a Whiteboard that can be used in that session. In this Whiteboard there are very limited options to use if you compare it to the normal Whiteboard app. Even the pen can't be used, only your fingers.
I would like the same functionalities as the normal Whiteboard in the Screen/Smart Mirror App to use.

Google Meet Screen Share
Please work on a means by which I can screen share through Google Meet from the Smartboard Chrome browser directly. With the camera app, I can finally log into Google Meet directly--that's awesome. This one extra function will radically improve my ability to run class efficiently with sick students logging in from home without running between multiple devices.
