SMART Podium® 624 interactive pen display default thickness setting option
Please add SMART Podium® 624 interactive pen display default thickness setting option at the SMART Setting. I do see this options from other SMART IFP but not in SP624.

Hide display settings for extend/duplicate every time you turn the display on.
I have a SMART Board at the front of the room and at the rear i have a mirror screen. These are permanently connected via the hdmi out on the SMART Board. Every time the SMART Board is woken from sleep it displays the "Display settings" window. Due to the size and mounting methods this setting will never change. it is always going to be either an extended display or a duplicated mirror screen. Can these extend/duplicate settings please be hidden in the main settings under "Display".

Default input in 6000 Series RX
Currently switching from 1080i to 6000 RX series.. users are constantly hitting the home button and getting to Android home page... Then not knowing what to do.
If buttons had a hover over the icon or the buttons are labeled it probably be very helpful.2 votes -
Requesting more embded fonts
Hi all,
We use Sassoon, Twinkl and Gothic fonts in our school and we wondered if others schools might benefit from more embedded fonts within Smart Board or AM60 modules please.
Currently when we import Smart Notebook files onto the board, all the fonts change and that is troubling the teachers. There is a slight alignment issue but that is because it goes from Windows/Mac to Android however more concern is the lack of embedded fonts.
So my request is to add more fonts please.

Ability to change the minimum HDMI standard remotely on HDMI inputs on MX boards.
Ability to change the minimum HDMI standard remotely on HDMI inputs on MX boards.
Currently having to manually change the HDMI standard to 1.4 on each board across our estate (700 boards have been installed so far with another 500 + to go) following new installations due to issues with cabling. Laptops are unable to duplicate or extend their displays to the panels until this is done.
Ideally we could do this remotely going forward & undo the change once the cabling has been replaced by AV contractors.

Currently our teachers can lock down a smart board with a pin or pattern. That becomes a problem when I as a tech need to go look at a board and the teacher is nowhere to be found to unlock the board.
There should be a way to unlock the board from the portal or allow someone to log out the person that is currently logged in so that they can log in behind them.
Allowing anyone to log someone out (much like on a PC) would also fix the issue that occurs when a substitute comes in but the…

Would be nice to be able to install External Widgets.
Even nicer if they could be installed via Smart Remote Management.

Wireless USB Touch
A wireless option to bypass the usb cable for touch gestures. Either utilizing bluetooth or a usb dongle similar to those used by wireless keyboards/mice. This would help with retrofit cable running issues and too many extensions for long runs.

Set volume control default option
Volume control buttons on front control panel are defaulting to notification sound. It would be nice if those would automatically control media volume or at least if we could have the option of setting the default to personal preference.

Connect Kandao Meeting Ultra to Smart MX or RX via HDMI out port
Connect a complete video conferencing system like the Kandao Meeting Ultra to the HDMI OUT of the new Google EDLA monitors (V5e RX). In order to use the Smart monitor whiteboard app during a video conference initiated by the Kandao Meeting Ultra system (it is equipped with an HDMI IN 2.0 port).
Now the display of the Kandao Meeting Ultra remains black.

Allowing audio to be Mirrored to the smartboard via the SMARTMirror app for one window only, not just for the entire screen.

Max volume limit
Max volume limit for the Smart board please. Perhaps an accessibility setting on the board. We have certain students that get music as reward/leisure and they try to turn the volume all the way up. When the sound then gets turned down to an acceptable level it can result in disruptive negative behaviors. Having these boards in a special needs environment makes this an essential feature. Thank you!

Sticky notes.
Sticky notes appear in the top right hand corner of the screen when using the GX series board. It would be more pedagogically correct to appear at the top left hand of the screen. In English we work from left to right. (I know we can move them but to reinforce this left to right working for our young users, it just seems wrong!

Allow more than 1 Admin Account on AM60 Module
At the moment, I have several instructors using my boards. They all have the work account on the AM60 (for security issues) but in order for them to log in to the board, I need to login first with my ID, apparently because I am the Admin account holder. This is a serious issue with usage especially when I am not in the office and I need to give instructors my PIN number.

"Dance Mode" Button
A red button that sits on top of your window - when the teacher or student desires, they push the button and it starts a timed "dance break" with a preselected song. The background could shift to something that matches the beat or music. This could be utilized for a brain break or as a reward for a student's performance (or just a fun way to occasionally connect to your students)

Option to disable input popup
I would like the option to disable the popup for switching inputs when you plug something in. Our staff uses multiple inputs and that popup just gets in the way. One froze on the screen for a whole day and the teacher had to work around it. If it is going to be useful, we should have the option to keep it up long enough to be able to get to it before it goes away. So length of time options as well as disabling would be nice.

Disabling ethernet ports of SMART displays & Support for LLDP
It should be possible to turn off the two RJ45 ports of the SMART displays. Some customers have a specific device "logic" in their network, based on the MAC address of the network card. Every device with a specific MAC address will get specific policies. When you have a scenario with a SMART display including an OPS PC PCM11 we have a total of 3 MAC addresses, depending on where you plug-in the ethernet cable. Allow common alerting protocol
Allow SMART GX model TVs to receiving common alerting protocols for campus/school wide emergency alerting. Similar to the Advanced Messaging system, allow for a system that would connect to a building's fire alarm or lock down system using common protocols to display emergency messaging on specific tvs or all tvs.
