SMART Podium 624 Pen at SLSO issue - Color and Thickness goes back to default after using eraser
First, I choose the black color at the SMART Podium 624 button and write, then change the color and thickness at the SLSO side menu to Green with the thicker pen, I can write the thick Green color but it goes back to black color with the original thickness after I use the Pen Eraser. Please keep the color and thickness of the pen after using Eraser.

Pen upgrade.
It would be nice if the pen had a dual purpose upgrade. Pen / Stylus. Maybe have the eraser side of the pen be a button itself. This could offer two potential benefits.
First, lite touch to screen and it erases as normal. Hard press to screen, eraser size gets bigger. This would speed the eraser process.
Second, press with thumb like a normal pen action would turn the pen to stylus, press again and back to pen. This would eliminate the need to use your finger to navigate and use the pen to write. One tool for both, a…

Manually updating firmware should have unique file names
The GX, AM60 and AMG1 and im sure others all have the same update.zip file name which is a pain when you are a service tech constantly dealing with many, many different model boards. Just name them all something different so we can keep them easily accessible on a flash drive.

Ability to change 'No signal power off' setting through SMART Remote Management
In SMART Remote Management, you can change the settings of SMART IWBs. One setting on SMART GX IWBs is No signal power off, which turns off the IWB when there has been no signal on the active input. It would be really helpful if this setting could be changed in bulk via SMART Remote Management, however there is no option for this setting.

Home button of older SMART displays should link to the AM60 homescreen
Hi SMART,
It would be great if the physical home button on the frame of the SMART Board® 6000S/-V3 series would navigate to the SMART iQ™ 4 home screen when using the SMART AM60 appliance as a hardware upgrade. It is very confusing for these customers to deal with iQ 3 (home button shows homescreen of iQ 3 or the input if you turn of the interanl iQ 3) and iQ 4 (AM60) if they want to consistent use the iQ 4 of the AM60.Thanks!

Support for SMART ID card sign-in with an AM60 inside a SBID-6000S/-V3
Hi SMART,
It would be great if the SMART AM60 appliance would also support the SMART ID card sign-in within the SMART Board 6000S/-V3 series. There are existing customers who got the AM60 as a hardware upgrade and want to stick to the used SMART ID card sign-in process and not switch to the QR code sign-in process.Thanks!

GX V4 Freeze Functionality
On the GX V4, freeze screen now also mutes audio, which is annoying for some. At least have the option to mute or unmute? On the V2 and V3, we see a menu for zooming too, the old functionality was much better

Lock imported files on Whiteboard
Can functionality be added to lock the imported image or pdf when using the Whiteboard so that it doesn't accidentally move if someone touches the screen and selects the background image causing the writing to become mis-aligned - similar to the lock function in IQ.4

SMART Mirror : Virtual Extended desktop
SMART Mirror application currently only supports screen duplication (mirroring). Our teachers rely heavily on the ability to use the interactive display as an extended second monitor (Extended desktop)
When brought up in a ticket and was told this "I can confirm that SMART Mirror should support sharing an extended desktop were it already available on the source computer."
The previous Bytello Share system had an option of using the smartboard as the 2nd monitor when casting to the board on the V2 & V3 Models

Unser Kunde hat nach dem Kauf des NX Displays festgestellt, dass die Auswahl des HDMI-Eingangs ausschließlich über die Fernbedienung möglich ist. Diese Einschränkung wird sowohl von unserem Kunden als auch von uns als wenig benutzerfreundlich empfunden.
Während dies bei interaktiven Displays in der Regel kein Problem darstellt, ist man bei einem Gerät ohne direkte Bedienelemente vollständig auf die Fernbedienung angewiesen.
Für zukünftige Produktserien wäre es daher wünschenswert, die Eingabeauswahl zusätzlich über ein Steuerkreuz oder Bedientasten am Gerät selbst zu ermöglichen – wie es auch bei vielen anderen Displays üblich ist.

GX-V3 Pen tool working like the iQ
The GX-V3 pen feature should work like the SMART Board 6000 series Interactive Display with an installed AM30/AM40 module. The functionality with the GX-V3 having you select the pen tool from the side menu whereas on the iQ the pen works as soon as you pick it up. The time this saves is huge.

Ability to disable the unfreeze function on screen
When I freeze the screen, my students are able to go up to the SMART Board and unfreeze by simply pressing the pause/play button on screen. Is there a way to disable this function in the software? I have disabled the convenience panel buttons, but that doesn't help when there is an ability to unfreeze by pushing play/pause button on the screen.

Define Default Home Screen for All Boards
We would like to be able to define the apps on all users' SMART board homepages. We have pushed down apps, but it would be helpful have them installed to the homepage.

port direction
On the SMART MX v5 board most of ports are on the left side of the board, facing outward. Because of how thick some of the HDMI cords are, this puts stress on these ports. If the ports were instead facing downward, this would reduce some of the stress on the ports.

Italian language is not supported with handwriting-to-text tool in the GX whiteboard.
When I want to use handwriting-to-text tool in the GX whiteboard I can't dowload italian language because it is not supported from whiteboard application.

Translating ink to text from one language to another on GX v3
Translating the ink you write on the board into another language for pupils who are EAL or currently unable to speak the language they are learning in the classroom. To allow them to see English (for example) next to their mother tongue to support them in their lessons.

The ability to add DNS/NETBIOS Name to the Smart Boards.
To be given the ability to add DNS/NETBIOS Name to the Smart Boards. This would aide in quicker identification of devices on large networks and assist with Cybersecurity and Zero-Trust efforts.

SMART Board GX Series Feedback
1) Because it conflicts with how other displays function, I think the audio mute icon should not persist on the screen if the volume is turned down to 0 with the Volume Minus button.
2) I know it can be turned off, but the Screen Sharing floating window should be Off by default. It's annoying that it persists when an active input (such as HDMI 1) is on the screen.
3) It would be nice if there were an Input Select button on the Home Screen rather than having to press the little arrow button on the side, then select…

Windows HDR capability
Yes I have the mx065 v2 touch screen enabled in Windows 10 works great with space viewing programs and weather programs and other cool apps and programs i use, but I am unable to get HDR working within windows 10 pro, which i know this smart series board supports HDR, and yes i do have it plugged in to HDMI 1 and i do have a HDR upto 8k HDMI cable so high speed cable yes and my gpu is HDR capable and has the latest drivers, but unfortunately it seems that there is no HDR Certified Display drivers for…
