Anregung für eine barrierefreie Einstellung bei SMART Displays
Sehr geehrtes SMART-Team,
Wir möchten Ihr Team auf eine wichtige Anfrage aufmerksam machen, die die Nutzung Ihrer Produkte betrifft.
In einigen Grundschulen in Berlin werden SMART Boards der Serie 6075 S eingesetzt, um Schülern eine interaktive Lernumgebung zu bieten. Innerhalb dieser Schülerschaft befinden sich auch sehbehinderte Kinder, für die eine barrierefreie Umgebung von entscheidender Bedeutung ist.
In Anbetracht dessen würden wir uns sehr darüber freuen, wenn Sie die Möglichkeit prüfen könnten, eine barrierfreie Einstellung für die SMART Displays zu implementieren. Diese Einstellung würde es den sehbehinderten Schülern ermöglichen, die Displays effektiver zu nutzen und am Unterricht auf gleicher Augenhöhe teilzunehmen.

USB Key as Unlock
Allow a configured USB key to unlock the board...display, settings, everything. This would be huge in the edu environment as they usually don’t want students on the board without supervision. These keys could be duplicated by IT admins and handed out to teachers and other staff in order to use the boards. Much like the USB key to keep configuration settings...this would be one key to rule them all (except a whole bunch to make these devices work in education).

Fyllnadsfunktion
Önskar en fyllnadsfunktion till Smartboard. Ex, jag ritar en cirkel på Whiteboard och sedan med ett enkelt tryck kan färglägga den utan att behöva måla den för hand. Funktionen finns i Smart Notebook så ett förbättringsområde till skärmen när man använder Whiteboard.
2 votesVi kommer att lägga till ett Shapes-verktyg till iQ Whiteboard. Även om det inte tillåter färgfyllning i former som du ritar för hand, kommer du att kunna fylla vilken form som helst som du skapar med verktyget Former.

Please leave the On of switch button by the AC in.
Its better if it is hidden. Also when troubleshooting its the same throughout all boards models.

Change EDID version on v3 boards
The option to change EDID version on older boards was very useful as some classrooms have long cable runs which high spec laptops do not work with without changing refresh rate and colour space. By changing the EDID version on the board this made the rooms much more user friendly for a variety of devices.

Please support 802.1x EAP TLS support (certificates)
While SmartBoard do support the installation of TLS certificates for use with cloud-based filtering and 802.1X EAP protocols for wireless authentication, They do not support 802.1X EAP-TLS for certificate-based authentication and it is not possible generating a CSR from the SMART Display required for 802.1X EAP-TLS certificate-based authentication.
This is highly desirable from a security point of view

Make OPS "network card" deactivatable
It should be possible to deactivate the network card that is passed on from the display to the OPS PC.
The background to this are "problems" in networks where certain images are installed via PXE boot based on the MAC address.
It happens again and again that the MAC address changes later.

SMART modelo MX100 y webcam
Tenemos una pantalla SMART modelo MX100 comprada recientemente y no podemos conectarle una webcam. Nos parece increible que una pantalla tan reciente y no muy barata para un centro escolar no soporte la conexión de una webcam para videoconferencias.
¿Se podría hacer algún tipo de actualización del software para solucionar este inconveniente?

Ability to increase quality of screenshots or saving of whiteboards to file - currently low quality - an option to save as a PNG or higher resolution as the PDFs currently saved are highly compressed and low resolution.

I would like to see the SMART displays have the ability to choose the icons from the OPS side (such as the widgets) to be accessible from the bottom of the screen to allow access to individuals who may be shorter or having to access these icons from a wheelchair.

SMART TV Integrated Webcam & Microphone
We would like to see a webcam and microphones integrated in to the SMART TV's. With the explosion of hybrid classrooms, we are seeing our teachers consistently request webcams be mounted above the TV's and 50-60' USB cables run to the PC's so the students at home can see the teacher/classmates/classroom during a meet. It seems like a no-brainer to integrate a webcam and multi-field microphones in to the interactive displays.

SMART Podium 624 Pen at SLSO issue - Color and Thickness goes back to default after using eraser
First, I choose the black color at the SMART Podium 624 button and write, then change the color and thickness at the SLSO side menu to Green with the thicker pen, I can write the thick Green color but it goes back to black color with the original thickness after I use the Pen Eraser. Please keep the color and thickness of the pen after using Eraser.

hide password
Would like to keep students from using the board unsupervised. The password feature would help, if it can be input in small so students cant see it. right now, the password is entered in large so all studetns can see what the password is. otehr option is to allow NFC reader to read card that has password on it.

Customizable fonts for the text pen on SMART Whiteboard
Teachers have been requesting the ability to change fonts on the Whiteboard application. The reason being that students often become unfamiliar with the way to write big and small letters while trying to copy the default font of the app. This is especially true for a younger audience. Example font to include is the ''teachers pet font''. Attached is an example of this font

SMART MIRROR
There are two features I'd like to see in Smart Mirror. First, extended desktop support. Second, a feature preferred by corporate firms and becoming widespread across many brands: the ability to connect a camera to the screen via USB, and while conducting video conferences using applications like MS Teams, Zoom, or Meet from my own computer, simultaneously viewing the camera connected to the screen from my computer.
