Contrast
The image quality of the 6000S series is insufficient. This could be solved by adjusting the contrast of the display. At the moment this is not possible. My request is to make it possible to adjust the contrast of the display.

Wir möchten Ihr Team auf eine wichtige Anfrage aufmerksam machen, die die Nutzung Ihrer Produkte betrifft.
In einigen Grundschulen in Berlin werden SMART Boards der Serie 6075 S eingesetzt, um Schülern eine interaktive Lernumgebung zu bieten. Innerhalb dieser Schülerschaft befinden sich auch sehbehinderte Kinder, für die eine barrierefreie Umgebung von entscheidender Bedeutung ist.
In Anbetracht dessen würden wir uns sehr darüber freuen, wenn Sie die Möglichkeit prüfen könnten, eine barrierfreie Einstellung für die SMART Displays zu implementieren. Diese Einstellung würde es den sehbehinderten Schülern ermöglichen, die Displays effektiver zu nutzen und am Unterricht auf gleicher Augenhöhe teilzunehmen.

Remove ability to do FActory Reset to avoid security.
We currently work in a lockdown facility, and wish to limit the students ability to change configurations on the smartboard. As such, we've implemented the lockdown of security settings with a USB certificate.
However, Students can easily do a factory reset on the board through settings-diagnositics.
The ability to reset the board to factory default status completely makes the security lock irrelevant. I understand the need to do a reset should the certificate become lost - or the USB ports become inoperable.
However, perhaps a series of key commands could server this purpose rather than an easily discovered diagnostic command?4 votes -
Be able to reset NFC ID Card
We need to be able to reset ID cards (maybe from the admin console?). As teachers leave the district, many do not care to remove the ID card from their account or their account is terminated before we are able to. Also, we found a card in the hallway with no way to know who's it is. Our collection of unusable cards is rapidly growing.

Change default pen thickness and colour for Notebook software. Apparently this is no longer a feature. It would be so cool not to have to change the pen's thickness in particular every time I write on the board.

Changing the SMART Board pen default settings with SMART product drivers
Why is there no option to change the SMART Board pen default settings with SMART product drivers (like in the previous SPNL-6000 series)? So you can't set a default ink thickness for the pens which is highly missed. Every time people are using the pens on a SBID-6000S they have to adjust the ink thickness again and again. This is very confusing and inconvenient for the customers who are preferring a thinner ink as a default. Also it would be a good idea to be able to set the calligraphic ink as a default, too. Parts and Advanced troubleshooting
Is there anyway that we could purchase replacement parts for 6000 series smart panels? We have quite a few that are getting black screens. Back light will work, but no image. Yes, they are out of warranty, but we feel its within our means, and right to repair issues of this nature. The unfortunate problem is that you don't offer parts. Humidity/Temperature sensors
Make the values of the humidity and temperature sensors available via RS232. With this you would be able to create perfect learning conditions if you use these values in combination with a room control system which now can control the air quality or the temperature conditions in the classroom.

Replacement nibs for 6000S pens
It would be ideal if the nibs for the 6000S model pens could be available for purchase on their own. We have several pens with broken nibs or nibs that sometimes fall out.

Picture in picture to allow teacher to show their presentation/software on one half of the screen from HDMI source and the other half to be able to use as a independent whiteboard if they need to quickly write a note/equation

Ability to increase quality of screenshots or saving of whiteboards to file
Ability to increase quality of screenshots or saving of whiteboards to file - currently low quality - an option to save as a PNG or higher resolution as the PDFs currently saved are highly compressed and low resolution.

SMART TV Integrated Webcam & Microphone
We would like to see a webcam and microphones integrated in to the SMART TV's. With the explosion of hybrid classrooms, we are seeing our teachers consistently request webcams be mounted above the TV's and 50-60' USB cables run to the PC's so the students at home can see the teacher/classmates/classroom during a meet. It seems like a no-brainer to integrate a webcam and multi-field microphones in to the interactive displays.
