Default input in 6000 Series RX
Currently switching from 1080i to 6000 RX series.. users are constantly hitting the home button and getting to Android home page... Then not knowing what to do.
If buttons had a hover over the icon or the buttons are labeled it probably be very helpful.

if i misunderstood your issue then it may need a screen calibration done, you can install the software in windows for doing that should be here on the website some where, also make sure screen resolution size is correct at like 2560x1440

I have my smart board hooked up to a 6000 series AMD GPU, the way i have mine setup is so it doesnt go in to power savings mode, like when i turned my MX065 v2 off with the remote it used to come on later with bright white screen saying it was going in to power savings mode, so i went and found that in the settings and turned that off and it doesnt revert to the main screen as much it stays on the HDMI input longer even if you turn off the screen, and when it does go back to the main screen i just use the remote with the button with a square and a dot in the center to quickly get back to hdmi 1
