Request for backing up the IQ4 system configuration function via USB device
In most cases, after performing a factory reset (following firmware update or issues with some apps), the Smart Board configuration settings are missing. We have to ask the customer about the configuration settings they had in place. This is not efficient or convenient. Therefore, we request the addition of a backup feature via USB device to save the configuration settings. After the factory reset, the customer or technician can then restore the configuration settings using the USB device.

Text Feature - Color Choices
We like to use the text option on our whiteboard sometimes instead of the writing to text option. We are not able to change the color of the text in this situation.
It would be very helpful if when you use the drop down options on each item you create on the whiteboard (where you can delete, lock, move to front, etc.) there was an option to change the color of the object or text.

Blackboard Mode
Would it be possible to add a "chalkboard" mode to the IQ whiteboard application or add an application identical to the Whiteboard app but with Black background and default White ink to emulate an old fashion chalkboard. Yes page background and pen can be manually set but it has to be repeated every page.

PIP
PIP should have the option to shift from landscape to portrat orientation AND to have an XL size that takes half the screen, similar to split screen.

screen time out
We use a certain white board file daily in our business. Every night, the board goes to "sleep" and locks. When we unlock the screen in the morning, it defaults to the home screen and we have to open the document back up and get to the page that we are currently working on. It would be beneficial to have an option for when we unlock the screen from sleeping overnight, it opens to the whiteboard file that we were working on the day before.

Tentative iQ Release Notes before release
Customers need a preview of what will change in iQ for a variety of reasons including preparing for professional learning, preparing for changes to deployment, SRM settings, etc. While the official release notes are released after an update, it has long been a need to have a preview of release notes prior to release of a new version of iQ. More "Remote Execute" commands for the SMART Remote Management software
Hi SMART,
Please add additional "remote execute" commands in the SMART Remote Management softwarea) to change the "home screen" (i. e. from "Education" to "Essential" and vice versa)
and
b) to hide the "display lock button" (on the lower left of the home screen)
Both options are only available in the settings of SMART iQ™ 4, but would be extremely helpful within the SMART Remote Management software.

Scheduled Sign Out for signed in users
We would like to schedule signing out any users of the board, if they are signed in at specific times. As we have teachers accessing shared rooms, and multiple teachers signing in we would like to schedule the Smart Remote Management to kick the users at the end of each period.
We have looked into the timed sign out, however this doesn't work for us as if the staff member signs in halfway through a lesson, they don't get kicked until halfway through the next, which would allow people to access their files.

Improving the user guide and providing additional sample configurations for SRM
The user guide is still a draft version with no improvements after feedback. Please ensure your user guide is detailed and clear. Additionally, providing more sample configuration settings with explanatory comments on your web page can enhance customer understanding(e.g. Schedule power off, Lock down settings, Disable auto update, schedule update & install Apps...etc). The credit plan and operation of SRM may be difficult for customers to comprehend.

Please make the Smart RDIF card function when google 2FA is on for the account. We need the added security of 2FA on out staff google accounts. iQ 3.16 and up please.

Would like to create a Smart panel template for various user types
Accounts like a substitute teacher as well as the daily teacher. Items such as apps, wallpaper and various other settings. Want to be able to walk into a classroom and know right away what type of staff account is logged in. One of our biggest struggles is how to use the panels with substitute teachers. We want something that will make that sign in process easier/quicker for them.

Shared Google Drive access within the Whiteboard
I’d like to request a feature enhancement that would allow users to access Shared Drives (within Google Drive) directly from the whiteboard.
Currently, it seems as though users can only access files from My Google Drive within the whiteboard.

Feature Suggestion for SMART iQ Whiteboard – Admin Control for Selected Students.
Dear SMART Team,
I am a frequent user of the SMART iQ Whiteboard in educational settings and would like to suggest an enhancement to the "Start for the whole class" feature.
Currently, when enabling this function, all students can collaborate simultaneously. While this is great for engagement, it would be highly beneficial to have an admin control where the teacher can:
Select specific students who are allowed to write on the board.
See which student contributed what, ensuring clarity and accountability.
This addition would provide more structure to collaborative work and help teachers manage participation effectively.I appreciate your consideration…
