  4. Netmask

    When configuring a static IP in the iQ experience the user is required to enter the netmask bit length. Most devices that have this option have users enter the subnet mask and in some cases either will work, but to only be able to enter the bit value seems strange and not very user friendly.

  5. Support for Proxy in SMART Mirror

    Hi SMART,

    Please add support for proxy settings in a network when using the SMART Mirror app for iOS/iPadOS. The SMART Mirror app won't find the SMART Display if using proxy settings in the network and the SMART Mirror app for iOS/iPadOS.

    We have had a request from one of our customers to have the Purple Mash application included in the Smart app store. Would this be possible?

  7. let us remove/add internal keyboard languages

    It is so annoying that I cannot add or remove languages for the internal keyboard. I have a panel now, that every day needs to be set to danish... from estonian... I have no idea why, since all language setting on the panel IS set to danish.... And why should I even be able to chose from more than 3-4 languages when it is NEVER needed?
    Also some students or teachers accidently sets the keyboard language to a different language by holding space button... and we have to scroll through so many languages to get it back to danish.

  10. set volume levels

    It would be handy to be able to set the volume levels remotely before we disallow volume adjustment. It would not be good to lock the user out of the volume control if the volume is set too low, or too high. We should be able to set the volume at a certain percentage and then disallow any adjustment.

  11. Add features and graphics for older students

    Add features and graphics for mature students, or during the setup process implement a feature to let the IQ software know if the board will be used in an education facility for Young Children, Teenagers, College Students, or Young Adults and tailer the experience.

  12. Clean up feature on ENT displays - add option to disable

    When the iQ software is inactive for an extended period of time, the log/cache is cleared of security/security to avoid unauthorized access to information when it is not in use.

    The ENT (enterprise) displays has "Clean up" enabled by default unlike EDU (education) which has an option to disable it.

    We have several screens at my workplace (ENT) that are constantly active and where the material we are showing is automatically shut down due to automatic clean up (it is annoying and users have unfortunately gradually stopped restarting the material on the screen because of this).

  13. Adjust Default Location - Up or Down of Log-In Icon

    We have our SMARTBoards up on the wall based on the height of the students in the room. This was done to increase the usable surface area for students. In some of the classrooms with older students, our shorter teachers are having a difficult time reaching the sign-in icon in the upper right hand corner.

    My idea: Code the icons so they can slide up and down in their existing column to a new default location.

  14. WhiteBoard safe search

    Could the WhiteBoard App have a so called "safe content" search? Now when you search for images or videos it doesn't filter out the content so that it wolud be suitable for children. And some of the content in the search is very "adult" and even scary for 0-7 year-olds. So some sort of enable/ disable funtions would be very needed! Now when you search for images you cant trust that the images are automatically suitable for children.

  19. SMART iQ™ 3.8 app store improvements

    The new SMART iQ™ 3.8 app store should just provide apps which are really useful to be installed on a SMART Board® interactive display. I've tried to install the screen record app provided in the SMART iQ™ 3.8 app store, but this app had been designed obviously only for smartphones. So when starting the app it goes visually in landscape mode (so you have to do the George Clooney look and put your head to one side), BUT the app is responding to touch events still in portrait mode.
