    Request to add a feature in SMART Remote Management that prevents local storage of files on SMART Boards or automatically wipes all user data daily without requiring a factory reset.

  4. Provide a way to lock the display from unintended use (in a shared environment)

    It would be really helpful if the screen could be unlocked using a card that is different from the one used to lock the display, or some other means of locking down the display from unrestricted use. In our case there are many different teachers using the board and we need to keep students from using it. If one teacher locks the display with a card, only that teacher can unlock it with their card, if another teacher wants to unlock the display they must enter the PIN, which students would be able to see.

  5. Tabbed text resizes on Duplicate Page

    Tab now works when typing but when I then Duplicate Page (Ctrl+D in Pages) the text in any box with a tab in it resizes to about 50-60 pt and loses the tabs.

    Thank you for pointing this out. We will include a fix in our 24.1 release later this year.

  6. The credit-based licensing system calculation is too complex.

    The complexity of the calculation involved in the Smart Remote Management credit-based licensing system has led to a lack of understanding among most customers.
    Additionally, Education customers face separate different time slots when purchasing the IFP, further complicating matters.
    Even the Smart Support Agents are struggling to fully comprehend this credit-based licensing system.
    Therefore, it is recommended to contemplate simplifying the licensing system.

  8. Add the international phonetic alphabet to smartboard language options

    I work for Tla'amin Nation's Education Department, and we use SMARTboards in our ʔayʔaǰuθəm immersion classrooms. ʔayʔaǰuθəm (pronounced Ayajuthem) is the language of the Tla'amin people and is written using the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). If IPA was available as a language pack to download, like English or Arabic or Japanese, then we could use the ink to text feature for ʔayʔaǰuθəm language classes, which would be so great!

  9. Wifi setup using NFC

    Many educational centers use WPA2 and each user has to enter their credentials to access the Internet.
    It would be very practical to be able to use NFC cards to configure the connection to the WiFi, in addition to logging in to the Smartboard.

  19. Netmask

    When configuring a static IP in the iQ experience the user is required to enter the netmask bit length. Most devices that have this option have users enter the subnet mask and in some cases either will work, but to only be able to enter the bit value seems strange and not very user friendly.

  20. Support for Proxy in SMART Mirror

    Hi SMART,

    Please add support for proxy settings in a network when using the SMART Mirror app for iOS/iPadOS. The SMART Mirror app won't find the SMART Display if using proxy settings in the network and the SMART Mirror app for iOS/iPadOS.
