Saving Timer Settings
On the new AM60s, I would like to be able to save Timer settings. For example, setting a default time as well as a default sound. I find that it resets every time I close it.
7 votesThis functionality will be included as part of our iQ 4.3 release later this year. Thank you for your patience.

MX-V5 panels (settings)
The following within the settings app need to occur.
- Ensure up-to-date firmware as SMART Board's firmware current for optimal performance. Currently too many glitches until a firmware has
- Set brightness to 100% out of the box (or at least have adaptive ticked out of the box) as this will maximize visibility in classroom environment.
- Disable all power-saving settings (or at least make 5hours minimum to prevent interruptions during lessons.
- Place the settings menu behind a password Limit access to key settings, ensuring only authorized users can make changes.
- No PIN required on the SMART Board out of the box Simplify…

Kingdom of Saudi arabia name in the country and time zone selection.
During installation of the smart displays, we encountered a complaint from the client (Government firm) that Saudi Arabia name is not even listed in the country selection and time zone. Even it may not affect the performance of the display, according to the compliance and requirements, Clients might insist to have Saudi Arabia in the country and time zone selection. Sold model is MX - V4 display and request to advise at the earliest.

AM60- Smart Spot Light Feature
AM60 recently updated and our staff members lost the Spotlight feature in the Smart tool box area. They would like this feature to come back as they enjoyed using this feature when teaching classes.

App Store
Oh no, the old App Store is gone?!?!? Having Google Play Store is great, but taking away the app store with the orange tile that was in previous iQ versions is horrible. It was really nice to be able to open that up and scroll through available apps. Without it, and only being able to search the Google Play Store, this forces teachers to have to take a bunch of time Googling what apps are out there in the world and then searching for them in iQ. Most teachers are not aware of all of the apps/games and would have…

Update indication
We'd like to see some form of indicator on the Apps that there's an available update for them. Perhaps an option to add "automatically update apps" as well? So when you update ur board, it checks the apps too?

All inserted videos to be deleted as needed in Whiteboard App
In the Whiteboard app, we've been able to insert a video(s) on a page to have ready for instruction and it would open full screen. Just recently, we lost the ability to delete the video. PLEASE reinstate this ability to resize and delete if needed. Having teaching resources at your fingertips is priceless. Thanks
2 votesSorry about this! We're currently working on a solution for the next iQ release.
In the meantime, this is how some users are deleting videos:
1. Hold and drag video (even just an inch or something) so the light blue annotation selection rectangle shows up
2. Put a second finger on the video (might need to make a motion so the whiteboard acknowledges the second finger, such as the increase/decrease video size motion)
3. Remove the original finger and pan on some empty space on the whiteboard. You will see the radar view's gridlines move to let you know you were successful.
The above guarantees you can always select the video, and doesn't launch the video

Screen Recording
The ability to record handwriting lessons so the teacher can assist children one on one rather than be at the front of the room with back to children while trying to write super neat & show correct formation while blocking with teachers body in the way.

Ignore/Lock input - but continue displaying content.
An ability to block/ignore touch input - so that students can not change what is being displayed.
Perhaps require the teacher to touch a pattern (top corners?) on the screen - or a long/double-press or a combo of buttons on the remote to (de)activate the feature.
4 votesThis is being planned for the next generation of SMART displays.

Purple Mash
We have had a request from one of our customers to have the Purple Mash application included in the Smart app store. Would this be possible?
The app is currently available on Google Play- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.purplemash_browser_react_native

Visualizer app
It would be great if the Visualizer app from IPEVO was allowed in the app store. We don't have remote management software so we can't add the app ourselves to the SMART board app store, but it would be great if that app was available for use since it matches the hardware my district has.

Integrate the google apps ecosystem
It would be very efficient for users, especially teachers, to be able to login to their google account on the board, like one does through an android device, to sync their bookmarks, logins, and apps, so that they can use google classroom, sheets, docs, etc easily.

Spinner Widget need more slices!
Increase the spinner widget to 30 so that teachers can use the spinner in class to pick names of students~! As much as teachers and schools are getting this device we need tools to use that are accessible! The spinner is great, but it only holds 12 names!

SMART Document Camera Application
The SMART Document Camera application asks for permission to USB every time the application is used. Ideally, it would be nice to have a way to retain this permission and prevent this pop-up every time the application is used or switched back to.

Add capability to connect Bluetooth speakers/headphones
Teachers often use their panels for station/center activities. Many times, audio is included in these activities which can be distracting for others at different stations. While utilizing the headphone jack is an option, disconnecting the headphone jack on the back of the panel each time audio needs to be played for the entire class can get cumbersome.
Having the capability to connect Bluetooth headphones would allow students to participate in the station activity while not disturbing others with the audio from the panel.

SMART IQ system should remember keyboard position
It is really a pain to have to move the keyboard every time you have to use it. Fx if you have issues reaching if on top of the screen. - The system should therefore remember the last position, or at least give us an option to do so.
Thanks in advance.
