Update indication We'd like to see some form of indicator on the Apps that there's an available update for them. Perhaps an option to add "automatically update apps" as well? So when you update ur board, it checks the apps too?

Settings and apps in iQ synced with my SMART account on every display It would be very helpful if the entire display settings and app data available in iQ (wallpapers, language settings, app logins...) were synced with the Smart account (stored in Smart cloud) and it would transfer into every display that I log in to.
All display settings and installed apps are currently stored in the display after login. The only thing available on every displays after login is the data stored in the Lumio.
Are there ever plans to extend this to at least change the language settings and wallpaper on all displays where one logs in? The ideal situation would…8 votesSettings sync is currently in the backlog. We're hoping this will be another reason why users will want to sign in using their SMART Accounts.
App sync unfortunately will not be possible as there are many factors that will lead to this not working, such as: the board doesn't have enough space to install the app, the app isn't compatible with a particular board, the publisher of the app have withdrew the app from further distribution.

Group Bookmarks I manage 200 SMART panels and 500 tablets. It would be awesome to be able to push web bookmarks to the Favorites, based on Tags or something like that.

Music Staves for Whiteboard background The whiteboard has several very nice background options, but it's surprising that music staves is not one of them. Music teachers would love you forever if that was included. Right now I have to use thin black paper tape on my physical whiteboard. The tape comes off. The tape breaks. You could make my life so much easier...

Saving Timer Settings On the new AM60s, I would like to be able to save Timer settings. For example, setting a default time as well as a default sound. I find that it resets every time I close it.

Line drawing tool The whiteboard toolset for 7075 v.2 and above needs a significant update, a line drawing tool is absolutely necessary, our University Accounting and Economics courses need a feature like this when using your product.

jew5463@gmail.com Our customer, who is using a Chromebook, is attempting to cast their screen to a SMART Board via Screen Share using Miracast. They need to modify the display name on the Miracast list. Currently, the display name appears as 'SMART Mirror- (code)'. This is causing confusion in classrooms with multiple SMART Boards on the same network, as there are too many similar display names that don't correspond to the classroom numbers.

Download screen capture as .jpg It would be helpful if teaches have the option to save a screenshot as a JPG. Currently, when a browser screen is annotated, it can only be downloaded as a whiteboard file. This is limited. If a teacher wants two browser screenshots side by side on one whiteboard page - for comparison or analysis - this cannot be done. If screenshots can be downloaded as JPGs, then they could be added to a blank whiteboard page and inserted like images.

Give the iQ software a full web browser (like Chrome or Firefox) so that interactive web sites like "Canvas" will work without errors Place a full web browser on the system (such as Chrome or Firefox) so that Teachers can use Canvas and other interactive websites without errors or compatibility issues right from the board. This would make the learning experiance in our classrooms seamless and take less time from the teachers. instead of forcing them to setup a laptop/desktop to do simple web based things.

Add language support for Hebrew Smarttech needs to expand their Language support, particularly Hebrew needs to be added.. this is the list that you ONLY support which is quite limited at best.

Thank you for the feedback. Language support is generally added based on sales volume. We don’t currently have support for right to left languages, so Hebrew would be difficult to add. Keep an eye on this suggestion to see if circumstances change.

Freezing the whiteboard to current screen Our teachers have requested to have a feature where they can freeze the whiteboard to the current state rather than it being movable with hand to the next white board empty space. The idea is to give the ability to the user to freeze the current whiteboard state so that users can write only on that white board and then if need be, unfreeze it to move to the next empty state. Currently it just moves and at times when teachers are writing it just moves randomly.

Add a close icon button to the SMART mirror floater window Add a close icon button to the SMART mirror floater that remains visible on screen once SMART mirror is activated. This floater can be disabled from the Settings, but this is not obvious to teachers/faculty who are used to being able to close floating (undocked) dialog boxes either by swiping off screen, swiping to an onscreen ⓧ, or clicking on a close icon on the floating dialog box. The floater is persistent even after the SMART mirror session is over unless disabled in the Settings.

Add option to disable 'Create pin to lock the display' Can we add the option to disable the 'Create pin to lock the display' located on the home screen? Either through the settings menu, or admin portal. Our boards are setup for self-service in an education facility catering for a wide variety of users.

Allow multiple profiles to be logged on to the board at one time Allow multiple users to stay logged in to the board at one time, letting them switch between profiles as needed. This will support classrooms in which there are two teachers or a teacher and a teacher's assistant.

More Whiteboard Export Features The new whiteboard that replaces the Kapp app is lacking some features. For instance was it possible from the Kapp app on the smartboard to mail the whiteboard as PDF and every user that was connected with the APP/WEB had the option to download the whiteboard as PDF.
It would be great if the new whiteboard will also have this option, now the only way to get the whiteboard is through a USB device which is not great.
Extra export to Google Drive, Onedrive, ... would also be a step in the right direction.6 votes
