having interactive items like dice supported via SLS
Created a SMART notebook file with a couple of pages including interactive dice. When I shared to my students via the SLS platform my students weren't able to use the dice. It said it wasn't supported on their end.

Math Type
Equation Editor does not have the ability to put in Limits, Logs or Matricies... the old Math tools did this!!!

Widgets
The widgets (timer, dice, pull tap, ..) are very helpful tools for the classroom. But I still miss further widgets to replace the "old" interactive flash animations especially the scoreboard, the random group generator and the random word chooser.

Extend Page to the Right
For years, I have been able to click "Extend Page" when I run out of room at the bottom of my document. Why can't I do the same when I run out of room on the right side of my document?
When I am doing a math problem, sometimes I get near the end of the screen and have to start writing uphill or downhill. A simple solution would be to have the ability to extend to the right just like I can at the bottom of the screen.

Auto-Save Function on 18.1
Provide an option for "auto-save" so you don't have to manually save before shutting down, replacing files and saving new versions, etc.

PLEASE enable some form of equation editor or Math Type for SmartLab activities such as Smart Response, Monster Quiz and Game Shows.
Please enable an equation editor function for Smartlab activities. Currently not able to use any and this is prohibitive as Maths teachers cannot enter any maths functions. Originally Smart Response did have an equation editor and this was fantastic - but the new SR doesn't permit this which is a huge step backwards. Not practical to type up a function / equation / expression in something like word then snip it and save it and then import this as an image - that is far too clunky and time-consuming. Also the great activities in SmartLab do not have the ability…

Linux is missing!
You have not come out with a version of Smart Notebook since 11. What's more, the last version of Smart Notebook 11 for Linux does not work on 64 bit distros, only 32 bit ones. 32 bit distros are being phased out. Linux users need a current version of your software, and it needs to work on 64 distros, particularly Ubuntu.

Smart Notebook 23 has issues with version 22 files such as backgrounds etc.
The support suggestion to open version 23 first rather than opening the previous version 22 file directly is not good. It immediately breaks the version 22 file if it has any backgrounds such as lined paper and graph paper. Response from SMART Support.

I have reviewed the files you sent. I can see the issues with the arrangement of text boxes.The issue is likely the result of the change that was made to SMART Notebook 23's workspace. The workspace is not a strict 16:9 aspect ratio. The issue persisted for you when you tried to open the files…

I really miss the 100 chart from the old version for my first graders.
I'd really like a 120 chart with flip numbers. Its a great way to teach even/odd numbers, higher and lower numbers, etc.

Enlarging Text & Pictures within the interactive activites in Smart lab
When creating an activity in Smart lab sometimes the font is too small to be read if it is longer than a few words and pictures are sometimes too small when the students use their phones. I would love to be able to change and increase font size for review on my board. Or, if there was a hover feature that would temporarily enlarge an object or text.

Paragraph line spacing is gone in Notebook 23
Before when you would type, you could go to Format, Paragraph, Line Spacing and change the amount of space between your text. This is a very important feature that was taken out. Without it, you cannot fit the words with images exactly how you want to display them. Please bring this feature back.

Math Equation Editor
Dump the current equation editor. I can't even add spaces. Use WIRIS Equation editor. Much more power and lots of online tools use WIRIS now.

Explicitly list post beta features In your documentation
In your marketing e-Mail for this they say ...
"You’ll have full access to Notebook 17 for 45 days, but even if you don’t purchase a subscription, you can keep using a limited version of the software for as long as you wish. Even the limited version of Notebook 17 has far more features than Notebook 11.4 and other previous versions!"... could you list explicitly the features that will and won't be retained so that end users can assess whether the post-beta version does indeed meet their requirements.

Crop (aka "mask") an Image
YOU TOOK AWAY MASKING AN IMAGE?!?! You only just recently introduced this option after never having a way to crop images. Taking it away is a huge step back.
