AI Speech
Would love an option to have AI create the audio (realistic voice) from a typed text - this would make creation so much faster and help with accessibility with youngers. There are a few applications that offer this and it is such a time saver.

Additional backgrounds in the AI creation feature
Could you add additional backgrounds in the AI creation feature and a blank option? Currently there are just a few and if you are creating a specific subject matter you would like to coordinate it. Even if there were a blank option that you could upload images and lock them would be helpful.

Turning Off Images in Lumio Lessons (Teacher Settings Guide)
Sometimes, images in Lumio lessons may be distracting or unnecessary for a specific activity. Teachers can manage this by adjusting the display of content.

Images
We need the ability to add images to our game bases pieces such as the Monster quiz. We do not use only words with lower grade levels especially in math. Many questions and standards have students selecting a number to match a image. It is a struggle.

Dual Pages in Lumio like in Smart Notebook.
Being able to have two pages up on the Lumio screen at the same time like we can in Smart Notebook, would be helpful when going back and forth between the two page. Love the interactivity, but being able to see both at the same time, would be helpful.

Highlighter and more pen tool options on basic annotations
We would love to see a highlighter tool added to the basic annotation options. Additionally, it would be incredibly helpful to have the same whiteboard pen tool options available in the annotation tools across all SMART platforms. The current whiteboard pen tools are excellent—especially for working with younger elementary students—and having access to them universally would significantly enhance usability and consistency during lessons.

On-Screen Scrolling “Crawler” for Reminders & Announcements
I’d like to suggest a new feature for Lumio: an on-screen scrolling “crawler” (similar to a news ticker) that can display reminders, announcements, or key information while a presentation or lesson is running.
Purpose & Benefits:
Non-intrusive communication – Important notes can appear without interrupting the flow of the lesson.
Continuous reinforcement – Reminders about due dates, class expectations, or learning goals can stay visible while students work.
Versatility – Could be used for motivational quotes, instructions, or real-time updates.
Key Feature Ideas:
Customizable text & scrolling speed – Teachers can choose what the crawler says and how quickly it…

Some problems with legacy vs new
I think you responded to us by allowing a way to clean up all of our slides, removing all of our hand written content ... but ... your method of doing so is by creating a new file with a new link. That causes other problems, first I need to get back into the google classroom assignment and change the link on every single assignment. Second, now I have a whole new page from you on all these new files being created. I don't want the "class sessions" page at all - give it a month and it is going…

Offer scrolling answers for the game templates.
I teach HS and need more room to put into the matching, sorting etc templates. This used to happen in the old edition—why not in the newer editions?

The ability to share a session in your Class Sessions tab with another teacher
To be able to share a session in your Class Sessions tab (after it has been completed) with another teacher. This would be useful to be able to share the data/ comments collected on a session with my year group partner so we can compare/ collate how students are doing across the year group. Also, helpful if one of us has completed the lesson before the other, to have an idea of possible misconceptions or issues before they teach.

Being able to delete a slide instead of having to go to the 3 dots to delete the slide.
I would like to be able to delete a slide from the presentation instead of having to click on the 3 dots and then delete slide. I would just like to be on said slide and click the delete button on my keyboard.

shout it out as group work
Shout it Out + Group collaboration:
Enable a feature that converts Shout it Out into group collaboration so students can contribute ideas in groups. This also means to include ability to randomize students into groups. Thank you!2 votes -
Smartboard Lumio Files Should Mirror Computer Lumio Files
When accessing your Lumio files through the Smartboard they should be the same as the files on your Lumio account through the computer. I have noticed when I access my files via the Smartboard and pull it up in the whiteboard fuction all of my fonts are different. Comic Sans is switched to Arial. I choose the font for a reason as I am a kinder teacher and prefer a more readable font. I was told because I access my files though the Smartboard without plugging my computer in the whiteboard changes the fonts. Seems very strange considered Lumio, Whiteboard,…

"First in"
basically have "Multibuzzer" built in as an option for a slide. I like to have little contests with prizes and it would be nice for students to have a way of "ringing in" first.

Thanks for the feedback. We will consider this as a widget that can be used on all pages. In the meantime, we do have this functionality in game-based activities. You can display up to 4 buzzers for students to buzz in at the board using the gear icon in game-based activities.

sticky notes
Would love to have a sticky note - maybe as a pull out in the Gallery (with stickers) that you could infinitely clone, use to sort, type on, put images on etc.

images in fill in blank
It would be of great value to be able to add/include images in Fill in the Blank activity. This would allow us to fulfill special accommodations with some students as well as increase the possibilities with the connections being made through the images in the activity (visual--->text). Additionally younger learners start with images and reading and writing with images is a great foundation.

Ability to favorite lessons in the Lumio library when you may not want to add them to your library
When working with multiple teachers you may want to "favorite" a few lessons in the Lumio library to show rather than having to save them all to your "my library"

Clickable text
Please give tools to use to make a clickable text link to move from one slide to another within the Lumio lesson to Lumio lesson creators. The only lessons that has this feature are the ones created directly by Smart Technologies.
