Add a camera tool in Lumio In order for students to take a pic of their work to add it to Lumio, they must use the camera tool from their Chromebook then navigate the pic from their downloads folder on CB to their Lumio page. Having a camera tool in Lumio would make this process a lot more efficient and not interrupt the flow of the lesson.

Thanks for the suggestion. We'll look into if it's possible to capture images directly from a camera source.

Allow educators to have more than one Lumio lesson open at a time Allow educators to have more than one Lumio lesson open at a time, so that we could be teaching with one Lumio lesson in one tab and editing the same lesson or a different lesson at the same time in another tab. Being able to edit or use more than one Lumio lesson at a time would be a gamechanger for virtual teachers!

Thanks for the feedback. We are exploring allowing teachers to work with multiple Lumio lessons in different tabs.

PLEASE add a CROP tool/button to CROP images, as it takes hours currently to save and screen shot each individual AAC image before uploading PLEASE add a CROP tool/button to CROP images, as it takes hours currently to save and screenshot each individual AAC picture symbol image before uploading. Additionally, if I try to upload a PPT that I have already made (after spending hours cropping all existing images and visuals) all of the pictures that I previously cropped blow up and I am left without any option or button to re-crop the images, leaving me to seek other tools with a crop button where this is an option.

Be able to use the pen tool in all modes We should be able to use the pen tool with all aspects of the program. For instance on "shout it out".

Thanks for the feedback. For Shout It Out, an alternative is to use a Whole-Class Whiteboard activity for brainstorming and discussion, which does support inking as well.

Please make it possible to insert links onto words intead of the insert link function. If I want to insert a link I have to use the insert link button (pic 1)
And when I do I get an ugly link.
It should be possible to hide an link into words directly

Change font size For matching game-based activities, the font size of long words and sentences is a bit small. Is there a way to change the size of the "cards" and their words' font size? If not, that'd be a much-needed feature to add.

backspace Backspacing is currently EXTREMELY Glitchy for me, and I think this should work properly.
About 70% of the time when I press backspace while editing activities, it tries to go back to the previous text box, instead of deleting text, the same happens when I press the delete button. It works SOMETIMES but not often. When I make a typing mistake I often have to revert to CTRL X to delete mistaken characters.
This is a horrible bug that makes the software extremely difficult to use

Add an ANIMATION feature or enable seamless uploading of PPT/Google slides or Canva presentations with animations. Add an ANIMATION feature (custom animation or a variety of animation options or both) or enable/allow seamless and functional uploading of pre-animated PPT/Google slides or Canva presentations. Currently I spend a significant amount of time using other software (Google slides, PPT, Canva) to design animated presentations (Ex. decoding short vowel letters and words animations when I am designing Science of Reading lessons to teach my special education students to segment, blend, and stretch CVC/CVCE words) but when I try uploading the animated lessons into Lumio none of the animations transfer or upload. There is no animation feature currently in Lumio…

page layout It would be great if we could change the layout of the pages so that we could see them in a grid version for mass editing where the slide is rather than having to drag it from bottom to top etc.

Edit/make lessons with coworkers (like in Google Drive) - not just share it Can you in Spark edit lessons with co-workers like in Google Drive? I know you can share the lesson and then edit, but the changes will only be in your library.

Divided Shape Notebook Import to Lumio I would love it if the Divided Shapes created in Notebook worked when imported into Lumio. Also, I would love it if you could change the font, size, and color of the fractions if you choose to show fractions.

Thanks for the feedback. We will consider bringing this functionality from Notebook into Lumio.

Allow one student at a time to edit/ write on the lesson. Instead of every student having access to edit at once, I think the teacher should be able to click on a student and give JUST that student control to edit. When they all can edit at once, they act silly.

text on activity thumbnail in editor When editing, if I have multiple "shout it out" slides, I do not know which is which. This also applies to multiple polls, quizzes, etc.
It would be helpful to have some of the text/title show up in the thumbnail of those activities within the editor.1 voteunder review ·AdminSMART Technologies Product Management (Product Manager, SMART Technologies) responded
Thanks for the feedback. You can set a name for each activity, which will show on the page, and we will look into how to display this name in the page thumbnail for easy viewing.
