  1. Hintergründe im Whiteboard dauerhaft individuell zufügen können

    Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn man eigene Hintergründe zu den vorhandenen hinzufügen könnte und diese nicht immer zb vom USB-Stick auswählen müsste, beispielsweise verschiedene Liniaturen...

  2. Active Shooter Alert

    It would be nice to be able to utilize a PA system through the smartboard speakers or a silent alert for active shooter/intruder in the building. Maybe a button that administration or any teacher can press that would turn the boards a specific color and say intruder. I think with what we are seeing around the US, this is an important safety feature that all schools can use. A double measure if you will.

  3. Parts and Advanced troubleshooting

    Is there anyway that we could purchase replacement parts for 6000 series smart panels? We have quite a few that are getting black screens. Back light will work, but no image. Yes, they are out of warranty, but we feel its within our means, and right to repair issues of this nature. The unfortunate problem is that you don't offer parts.     Devices with and without intellegienz
    2. devices installable lying down, without pen holder.
    3. devices without touch (24/7, high haze level with USB-C and holes left/right, top/bottom for camera).
    4. business apps for the device with improved functionality. Compatibility with Crestron (Crestron certified), Extron, etc

  7. Get an external docking station or power supply for ICT for OPS

    An ICT department who have many smartboard in many class will be easier to manage if we could have an external docking station or power supply to connect the OPS for test or pré installation in a domain to prepare massive deployment for example.

  8. Workflows with the new SMART ID cards

    It should be possible to store certain individual workflows on the new SMART ID cards. Imagine a teacher or a meeting room user walking up to a 6000s, taping on the 6000s screen with his/her SMART ID card and then the predefined workflow starts automatically:

    • the user will be logged on to SMART iQ™ with the SMART account
    • the predefined app is going to launch (i. e. SMART whiteboard or SMART TeamWorks™/PowerPoint)
    • the predefined file opens
    • the app browses to the predefined page/slide

    This would be a real USP and it would meet the needs of teachers or meeting room…

  9. SMART Board® GX series no Proxy settings on Wifi connection

    There is no ability to set proxy setting in the Wi-Fi connection on the GX Series Boards. Needs to be similar to how this works on the MX Series. (Using latest Firmware as on Aug 2021)
