Fyllnadsfunktion
Önskar en fyllnadsfunktion till Smartboard. Ex, jag ritar en cirkel på Whiteboard och sedan med ett enkelt tryck kan färglägga den utan att behöva måla den för hand. Funktionen finns i Smart Notebook så ett förbättringsområde till skärmen när man använder Whiteboard.
2 votesVi kommer att lägga till ett Shapes-verktyg till iQ Whiteboard. Även om det inte tillåter färgfyllning i former som du ritar för hand, kommer du att kunna fylla vilken form som helst som du skapar med verktyget Former.

The Smart wall mount is not installation friendly.
The screw to lock the mount is not very accessible and make it very difficult to service the mount or just installing it.

Please leave the On of switch button by the AC in.
Its better if it is hidden. Also when troubleshooting its the same throughout all boards models.

SMART Remote Management Feature Matrix
Please can a feature list/matrix be added for each deployable setting against the various models of SMART Board.
A recent Support ticket has uncovered a number of functions of Remote Management are not available on GX Series boards. There is no indication on the Device Management Guide for which features will or will not work on various boards.
This would be useful information for all to prevent unnecessary troubleshooting and support tickets that are not available on various models.
3 votesWhen a feature must be done differently for one or more of our SMART Board models, it is noted in the management guide. In iQ3, this is generally an exception, and most features apply universally.
With our next generation panels running iQ4, we will be expanding this documentation. We may be able to include more detail within the iQ3 panel differences as well, and we will keep this under advisement.

Change EDID version on v3 boards
The option to change EDID version on older boards was very useful as some classrooms have long cable runs which high spec laptops do not work with without changing refresh rate and colour space. By changing the EDID version on the board this made the rooms much more user friendly for a variety of devices.

MX HDMI 1.4b and HDMI 2.0
Problem with MX V3 and V3N HDMI controller settings.
V2 and V2-C had an option for advanced HDMI settings where a customer could set HDMI standard (1.4b or 2.0), HPD impulse, MHL settings and quick USB switching.We noticed that in some regions a lot of schools had received computers from tenders such as HP ProBook 450 G8 and a few others that do not work with HDMI 2.0 standards.
Since the interactive display does not allow changing that setting, the computer does not work with the display no matter the cable that the customer uses.

Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn man eigene Hintergründe zu den vorhandenen hinzufügen könnte und diese nicht immer zb vom USB-Stick auswählen müsste, beispielsweise verschiedene Liniaturen...

Adjust time required to freeze board
Could you add the ability to adjust the time it takes to freeze the board by holding down the menu button on the GX series? Currently you have to hold it for 5 seconds and there no way to change this, it's a surprisingly long time when stood in front of a class and just generally quite annoying.

Dice rolling in whiteboard app
I know this is minor, but please speed up the time it takes to roll the dice in the Whiteboard app. It is so long right now it kind of makes it unusable. (Or even better, make it a setting.)

Active Shooter Alert
It would be nice to be able to utilize a PA system through the smartboard speakers or a silent alert for active shooter/intruder in the building. Maybe a button that administration or any teacher can press that would turn the boards a specific color and say intruder. I think with what we are seeing around the US, this is an important safety feature that all schools can use. A double measure if you will.

Please support 802.1x EAP TLS support (certificates)
While SmartBoard do support the installation of TLS certificates for use with cloud-based filtering and 802.1X EAP protocols for wireless authentication, They do not support 802.1X EAP-TLS for certificate-based authentication and it is not possible generating a CSR from the SMART Display required for 802.1X EAP-TLS certificate-based authentication.
This is highly desirable from a security point of view

Change default pen thickness and colour for Notebook software. Apparently this is no longer a feature. It would be so cool not to have to change the pen's thickness in particular every time I write on the board.

PIN that stays locked until you re-enter it again
We love the new PIN option but there is a problem with it staying locked. We are a Catholic School who shares our classrooms with many other functions after school hours and would love to lock our boards so they can not be used by anyone but our teachers, we do sign out of our accounts so they are not available. If we put the PIN in and shut the board down, when it gets started back up it has unlocked. This would be a great feature for many schools I presume, is there a way to make this happen?…

Lock gestures button on whiteboard
The kids and also the teachers are having severe problems on writing on the whiteboards without the annotation layer resizing or shifting unwantedly, resulting in destroyed proportions regarding the whiteboard backgrounds. I'd like a way to lock the gestures or to turn them off completely for the system, since they destroy a lot of usability for us sadly. (GX series)

Parts and Advanced troubleshooting
Is there anyway that we could purchase replacement parts for 6000 series smart panels? We have quite a few that are getting black screens. Back light will work, but no image. Yes, they are out of warranty, but we feel its within our means, and right to repair issues of this nature. The unfortunate problem is that you don't offer parts.
