We currently work in a lockdown facility, and wish to limit the students ability to change configurations on the smartboard. As such, we've implemented the lockdown of security settings with a USB certificate.
However, Students can easily do a factory reset on the board through settings-diagnositics.
The ability to reset the board to factory default status completely makes the security lock irrelevant. I understand the need to do a reset should the certificate become lost - or the USB ports become inoperable.
However, perhaps a series of key commands could server this purpose rather than an easily discovered diagnostic command?
