  1. Random tools

    I miss the RANDOM TOOL animations. I teach English and I have been using Notebook since 2006. I have made loads of Random Pictures files. They are great for introducing vocabulary and checking that is is memorised. I also use the RANDOM letters and RANDOM numbers a lot.
    Can you put them back please?

  2. Support for newer Ubuntu-Distributions

    We need updates for the Linux-Version!

    With Ubuntu 16.04 reaching EOL in the near future, we need an update for the Linux-Packages to be able to install them on 18.04 or even 20.04. We don't need the features from the newer Versions, we just need official support for Version 11 for newer Ubuntu Distros. Without it, schools here in Europe trying to teach using Linux need to buy more PCs and Windows Licences just for using the Smartboards they already own, which is money that could very well be spend in more important areas.   5. Font Changes

    I am a Kindergarten teacher. I am trying to use the activities feature and share activities to our iPads. It is helpful for my young learners to have a font that looks like the letters they are learning. The font that appears when I type in text does not allow the letters I, g and a to look like the letters they are learning. Please allow us to choose a font or make a different font the default. Thank you!

  6. PLEASE bring back the Flash-supported pages!

    I have countless hours invested in creating activities that are integral to my lessons. POOF! All gone with an (accidental) update. At least make them compatible with the new version. At least provide similar options. The new options aren't nearly as good.

  8. Voice overs in LAB activities

    It would be great for teachers to be able to record in the LAB activities.
    Say in Match it up, students can click in the corner of one of the match it up icons and it reads the word or letter (if there is a recording) Same in SMART response, the teacher can voice of over the question and students who need it can click an icon and the teachers voice reads the question.

  9. Compass, Background/grid

    Dear Team,

    One teacher is maths needs to mark the centre of the circle, radius values on compass as in Activinpire.

    Also they need to customise the grid customised same as in activinspire, four lines, two lines etc.(background)

    Also actions to be hidden as in Activsinpire

  12. Flash Replacements

    It would be nice to have a 10 sides dice that you could modify the numbers. Missing a way to have the number generator. Also would love to have the LAB components be able to add to a Notebook page (i.e. hat picker, timer, spinner ....) I appreciate that my old flash items take me out to a web page. We use the thermometer daily.

  13. I would like to see more of a variety of games. Make creating and sharing games a quicker process.

    Create more games where students are active from their seats (maybe they can use the i-pads to log in an answer). Make creating and sharing LAB games easier. Notebook could directly link to the internet (images)
    so that as you need images (flip out and label reveal) you can just click on gallery and search then just double tap and the images is put where you need it.

  16. Go back to the 2022 version.

    Better because you brought back the "Extend Page" feature. I do not like what has been done to the View Screens tab. 100% is way too big and when you reduce the size it just cuts the whole thing down to a tiny box....I keep trying to use the new version but I find things that I don't like as I use it. I will always go back to 22 version as long as it is available.
    Please just stop trying to improve on the 22 version. It was already great.

  17. PDF no longer works!!!

  18. I hate that line spacing disappeared and that editing is now near impossible. Notebook has been ruined.

    Bring back the easier editing and line spacing from all the earlier versions. I despise the current Notebook iteration.

  19. Mask and some other issues

    First of all, congratulations on the new version 23 of SMART Notebook.It is an improvement and some problems have been solved.
    I am experiencing the following issues

    1. Mask functionIs disappeared in V23 and is indispensable for me.

    2. Screenshot is cumbersome
      After taking a screenshot, I want to choose whether to send it to the current page or a new page. Now I first have to click on a pull down menu to switch between the different options. I would like to choose between these two options immediately. Also I have always ton resize the capture, because it is imported mutch…

    setting to switch on / off touch screen functionality on the smartboards from the smarttech app or interactivity with win10/ 11 to do so. This is instead of having to physically remove the usb cable from the pc or or smartboard.
