Monster Quiz
I would like to be able to turn of the time pressure when the students work on the questions. This gives me more choices on how to use this great lab.

New Lesson Activity Builder (LAB)
I love how easy it is to set up the new LAB in SMART NB 15. The designs are exciting, vivid, and engaging. I would imagine and hope in the future that more designs will be added. In addition, I think it would be a good idea to add pre-made/created LAB activities that are geared toward specific subject areas and have the sorting categories and items with lists already created.

General stability
Stability of 23.2 is poor. I have numerous crashes, losing critical edits. Also on start up the page index is blank and only appears by selecting attachments and going back to page index.

New Version is no longer usable
The tables are now useless. I can't type directly into the boxes anymore and trying to shrink the font is frustrating. I shouldn't have to redo work I've been using since September. Also, in the gallery, the music notes, which I have been using for many, many years can no longer be shrunk. When I try to resize them to make them workable they go blurry. I am going back to version 22 thanks to a post in here, but I think it's ridiculous that I have to do that with every file.

PDF no longer works!!!

Please fix PDF export in the new version. Attaching the two PDF files - 10-02 - new version (horrible), and 10-04 - old version (that works).

Feature changes are awful
I can no longer reshape (longer or wider) text boxes or objects - they are only able to be made smaller or larger - very frustrating. Also, there is no option to extend page or even scroll down past the observable window. Also, the new box around a selected object is blue - inside the box as well! Every selected object is highlighted with a light blue tint inside the very visible blue outline - it happens with locked and unlocked objects. I have already started researching alternatives to this software.

Make highlighter transparent again when exported to pdf
An earlier version of SMART had this problem and it was then fixed in a subsequent update. The latest version of Notebook, 23.1, has this problem again. When exporting highlighted text as a PDF, the highlighter becomes solid and you cannot see the text behind it.

After taking a screenshot, I want to choose whether to send it to the current page or a new page. Now I first have to click on a pull down menu to switch between the different options. Bring back CTRL-drag to duplicate items
For my 15-ish years of using Notebook, I could always press CTRL on a PC and then click/drag an object, leaving the original in place but also dragging a duplicate to the now cursor location. I assume CMD-click/drag on a Mac achieved the same.

Free basic edition of SMART Notebook for Linux
SMART Tech provides a basic free modern edition of the SMART Notebook software for Windows and Mac users only. I would like please to request that SMART Tech offers also to the Linux users a modern free basic edition of the same software (SMART Notebook).
The current version (at the time I am writing, March 2023) of that SMART Notebook for Windows is 18 but for Linux it is only 11. Version 11 is not a modern version and it doesn't work with the recent Linux. It works only with Ubuntu 20.04 or Linux Mint 20.3 (because Mint 20.3 is…6 votes -
Formula editor still a joke
Notebook ... version 22. More than 10 versions after version 11.
And still no decent (fast to use) math-editor.- The latest one is sluggish.
- The latest one does not insert my equations, only the one "it" thinks are correctly formatted.
- The style (Times New Roman) .. without italic variables just does not feel correct.
Please bring back the formula-editor that was implemented in version 11!

Changing the default pen and eraser settings on smartboard
I always use the thinnest pen and smallest rubber on smartboard, but find I have to constantly change to choose these. Can I set it up so that these are my default settings?

Teacher Only Note Section on Slides
We need to be able to provide our teachers with a notes/lesson section (like how you can add notes to individual slides in PowerPoint that your audience can't see). Would it be possible to add this feature to slides in the notebook? We share lessons a lot and it would be really helpful to be able to outline what teaching should happen on what slide in the lessons.

Interactives in SLSO
It would be great for the widgets (dice, clock, spinner, pull tab, etc.) that work in Smart Notebook to carry over and work in SLSO ...or added at the SLSO level.
