2. Recents

   Please show all recent apps on the home page. We upgraded from the AM40 to AM60 and the biggest complaint is that Lumio nor Chrome apps show in the recent items. The teachers really miss that.

3. SMART Mirror: Option to display or not display the session ID

   Add option to display or not display the session id on the "casted" stream when using SMART Mirror on NX as well as QX displays. Session ID currently shows on top of the castes video. Client does not want the session ID displayed. Currently there is no option in the préférences for this functionality. Client requests the option to display the session ID on the casted stream or not be added in the session configuration menu.

   Duplicate Input access on Home screen (iQ 4.6.2)

   Summary:
   With iQ 4.6.2, the Home screen replaces Settings with Input and Lumio. Input is now exposed both on the Home screen and in the navigation bar, creating duplication.

   Feedback:
   While this may be by design, the dual access points for Input can be confusing and adds unnecessary clutter to the Home screen. From a UX perspective, it may be cleaner to keep Input in a single, consistent location (preferably the navigation bar).

   Impact:

   Customer confusion around why Input appears in multiple places
   Reduced clarity and consistency in navigation

   Suggestion:

   Consider removing Input from the Home screen, or
   Provide an option to customize/remove tiles on the Home screen via bulk method (SRM / SC)

5. Display Center options

   Presently, there is no way in the display center app to set the default display mode to Duplicate the image as was the only option in Previous displays. the mode defaults to extended, there is no way to change this. Making it impossible to use this output via RS232 command.

6. Input widget for SMART iQ 4

   Hi SMART Team,

   Please consider adding a home screen widget to the input app (com.smarttech.iq.avinput.service) for SMART iQ 4 that allows users to preselect an input source directly—without needing to open the full input app first and then choose the desired input.

   For example, if a teacher consistently uses USB-C-1 for their laptop, it would be extremely convenient to have a home screen widget on SMART iQ 4 that switches to this input with a single tap.

   Ideally, the widget should also reflect any custom name assigned to the input source. For instance, if USB-C-1 has been renamed “Laptop” in the SMART iQ 4 settings, the widget should display “Laptop” inside the widget instead of the default label.

   Enabling one-touch access to a preferred input source would significantly save time and make SMART iQ 4 even more intuitive to use.

8. Beschriftung an den Strichen und Kreisen deaktivieren

   Hallo Supportteam,

   ich habe hierzu ein Ticket erstellt SMART Fallnummer # 00871736, darin wurde mir empfohlen hier einen Wunsch zu äußern.

   Auf dem SMART Board GX175G-V4 ist es im Whiteboard so, dass wenn man bei den Formen eine Linie malt, oder einen Kreis, diese mit Zahlen beschriftet werden. Es zeigt keine cm Zahl etc. sondern eine Zahl als Referenz, damit man gleich große Objekte Zeichnen kann. Die Kundin von uns möchte einfach Linien malen und Kreise, aber keine Beschriftungen haben, so wie es bei fast jedem Mal/Zeichenprogramm der Fall ist. Auch in der SMART Notebook Software kann man einfach Formen nutzen, ohne Beschriftungen eingeblendet zu bekommen.
   Bitte deaktivieren Sie diese Beschriftung grundsätzlich, oder erstellen einen Punkt in den Einstellung, dass man die Beschriftung deaktivieren kann.

11. Moving Lumio Lessons to Public Files

    Using the "public files" section is great for when you have a supply teacher, but there is no option to put a Lumio file in public files". This is difficult because it encourages teachers to move away from Lumio and rely on Google Slides so they can leave lessons for supply teachers. There should be a way to put a Lumio lesson in the public files area.

13. IQ4: Navigation toolbar VS Annotation toolbar

    On IQ4 (AM60), while on full screen mode for presentations or playing video and trying to call the navigation menu bar by pulling up from the bottom of the screen, the annotation tools bar shows up and blocks the system toolbar from view/touch. It happens all the time and teachers have been complaining a lot about it. Is it possible to make the annotation bar show up in a place where it doesn't block the navigation bar?

15. Chalkboard Mode or App

    Would it be possible to add a "chalkboard" mode to the IQ whiteboard application or add an application identical to the Whiteboard app but with Black background and default White ink to emulate an old fashion chalkboard. Yes page background and pen can be manually set but it has to be repeated every page.

    Some audio impaired kids use audio devices that can connect either via jack or USB or bluetooth to the board.
    Android iQ does not provide a capability to use multiple audio output at the same time so that the impaired student as well as the other students can listen at the same time to an audio / video resource.
    This could also be used when students are working in stations with headphones and there is a need to quickly switch to the speaker for the rest of the class to listen (the jack at the back of the panel is then difficult to get to).
    Some Android devices have the ability to activate multiple audio output at the same time though…
    iQ4 devices EDLA certified are provided with Bluetooth 5.2 Dual mode enabling higher quality streaming and multistream audio support for a better experience with multiple Bluetooth headphones (aka Auracast).
    Android supports such multicast features since version 12.
    Could a next iteration of iQ4 provide such a beneficial feature to enable multiple output?

17. Training resources in French

    Submitted on behalf of Centre Services Scolaire des Hauts-Bois I coordinate training for teachers in Quebec and there is zero material available in French language to help me. At minimum please translate or produce instruction video capsules in French as well as simple infography. I am having to create these resources and it is extremely time consuming. I am including a sample. Thank you for your assistance with this.

19. Make Whiteboard Toolbar Collapsable

    The whiteboard menu is large and gets in the way of using the whole screen. It would be very helpful if you could collapse or be partially dragged off the side of the visible screen.

    Additionally, having the option to nest the toolbar to the side of the screen would be an improvement to the current floating whiteboard toolbar.
