In most cases, after performing a factory reset (following firmware update or issues with some apps), the Smart Board configuration settings are missing. We have to ask the customer about the configuration settings they had in place. This is not efficient or convenient. Therefore, we request the addition of a backup feature via USB device to save the configuration settings. After the factory reset, the customer or technician can then restore the configuration settings using the USB device.
