I want all of the things from Smart notebook to be available in Lumio Our district upgraded our smartboards to the 6000 series this summer. I am changing my notebook files to lumio so I can use them on the board.
In lumio, I am finding it difficult to use the tools I had on smart notebook files, Like a line tool. I dont know why they would take most of those things out but I used them very frequently and now I dont know how to get to any of it. Please just make a smart notebook toolbar in lumio.

Thank you for your feedback! We love Notebook too; we've added functionality to it over the last 20 years and there's a lot in there.
We plan on continuing to add support for the best of Notebook features in Lumio and making your Notebook files work better when imported to Lumio. For example, we recently added support for shapes and lines and the MathType equation editor.
We would appreciate your input to help us prioritize the features that are the most important to you. Let us know your favorite specific features by voting on ideas. If you don't see your feature suggested already, create a new idea.

Allow text and pictures together Instead of just allowing text or pictures in any instance of the Lumio platform, should be an option to allow both text AND pictures.

teacher copy Allow the students to see the teacher copy especially when given student share link so students can review correct answers.

Personal Image library I would really like to be able to add images to a personal library that can be added quickly to lessons.
There are a few images that I consistently need (such as CAD currency, arrows, etc.) that I have saved on my computer to upload to lessons. It would be much more efficient if there could be a personal library that can be accessed in the Insert Shape/Line/Image button.

Equation Editor for Students Students need an equation editor so that they when they are completing an Individual, Group or Whole Class handout, they can create equations to show their work or post math/chemistry/physics style answers.

Add the option for the spinner to play sounds when spinning. In some classes, this feature would likely increase student engagement.

Individually allow students who are logged in to Lumio to write on a slide. I love how the individual response and the group response activities allow students to give responses. I would like an "on the fly" option to allow individual students to write information on slides. I've tried to use a whole class whiteboard, but I have middle school students, so they "play around" on the slide instead of write the answer on the slide. Being able to assign a specific student to write or type could also take away the fear students have of placing an answer on the board in front of the class and in not being correct.

Being able to add more than two choices in Super Sort. I teach accounting and the super sort would be great for sorting accounts but I would need 3 choices (assets, liabilities, and owners equity.

Math Type for Students to use Students don't have a way to type math symbols, but teachers do. It makes it very difficult to have them show their work without it.

import text boxes from google-slides, don't convert each slide to an image it's super annoying that you cannot edit the text on a slide, because when you import the slide, the text is converted to an image

Add Full Screen on Lumio On Smart Notebook you have the option to present your lesson in full screen. When I use Lumio on my Smart Board it only uses about 2/3 of the screen the rest is gray. I would like to utilize the entire Smart Board space.

I'd love the option to quickly generate a new Class ID directly from the SMART Whiteboard (without going to the browser). In secondary schools where students travel to different classes, it's very difficult to have students connecting to my activities when they get to another class. I want to be able to quickly click a "reset Class ID" within the Whiteboard on my SMART panel. I also want to be able to use the same slides/lesson and easily separate student responses by class period WITHOUT having to make a copy of my slides/lessons for every class.

It would be helpful if we could move the taskbar so that you could advance the slides from either side of the board. I would like the taskbar to be able to move to either side of my display so that I can teach from either side.

pdf, compass and ruler, undo button, circle & move a body of text The following are missing from Lumio, but I frequently used in Smart Notebook: ability to download file as a pdf, ability to use the compass and ruler, an undo button, ability to circle a body of text and move it as a whole to another area on the same page or to another page.

Improve Filter in Lumio Library results Improving the ability to filter results based on when items were added to the library would help take out the outdated content from my results. It would also be nice to be able to filter out stuff created and added from SMART technologies.
