Writing text instead of drag and drop when using fill-in-the-blanks
Hello.
I think it would be cool if you could have a setting in fill-in-the-blanks where you could choose free text instead of drag and drop. It would force the student to be more active in the class and they would learn more.Alvin 7th grade - Thoren Framtid Växjö

Shortcut keys: to change from text to pen, for locking, ordering images/text
I would be great if we had shortcut keys: to change from text to pen, for locking, ordering images/text etc. The shortcut keys that are available in Smart Notebook really contribute to keeping up an even pace of the lessons.

Add Content section
Under the "add content" section, you have the ability to add multiple YouTube channels at once, but it only shows the last one clicked on the page. It would be nice for all of the channels to be shown on the same page and you be able to adjust the size of them. How can this be added?

Ability to set a range for Student Paced pages & Additional Options
I see that Student Paced Individual Whole or Group give students options to navigate. I would separate this - to provide additional buttons 1 for individual and 1 for a small group - that enable a teacher to set a range within the lesson that the student or group can progress through - Desmos Activities provides this.

Manual sorting of students for group workspace
Would be great if we could manually sort students into collaborative groups like on Zoom or Teams. Having them automatically and randomly sorted makes it difficult when we have planned strategic groups based on ability to complete collaborative activities. Just integrating an option to randomize groups or manually sort them would be great!

Notification with Student-Paced Lesson Completion
I would love to have student-paced lessons where the student clicks a button or something at the end to say they are done, and it notifies the teacher that student-paced work has been completed.

Be able to ink using a touch screen Chromebook.
Be able to use a touch screen Chromebook as an input and use the pen functions. I would like to be able to use the Chromebook like a whiteboard. Could let the teacher write on the board from across the room.

Grouping, Ungrouping, and Object Animation like Fade In and Out and Fly In and Out
Grouping and ungrouping objects is very useful in many different ways. In the last lesson I had I needed to put a character in a boat and have it sail across the ocean, however; there was no way to keep both together. It's also helpful if you need to copy or delete multiple thigs at once to save time in lesson preparation. Fade In and Out and Fly In and Out are also important. I'm teaching to young children and object animation helps hold their interest.

Allow students to vote/like posts on Shout It Out activity
It would be helpful to have an option that students can vote/like posts in the Shout It Out activity. It's great to crowdsource ideas with this activity, but would make the tool even better with the ability for students to vote on or like student posts (this option would have to be enabled by teacher), similar to how it works in Padlet.

Lock slide feature
It would be great if certain portions of the slides could be locked while giving students access to other sections. When I imported my lesson from my smart notebook, it imported everything but I only want students to see certain sections and not all of my notes.

Download the lessons to a computer.
Sometimes we need our lessons offline. If the lessons were made in LUMIO it's impossible to use them offline. So it would be better to download all LUMIO lessons to a computer.
