New STAAR Question Types for Texas teachers It would be very helpful if you could add the new STAAR question types to the Response section. I can build most of them in Game-based activities and Response now, but they don't allow gathering of student data like other Response questions do. I'm including the chart that explains the question types and a link to the Texas Education Agency website where you can see examples.

Cut and paste parts of items loaded in lumio I'd like to be able to cut and paste parts of items loaded in lumio to move them. Ex: upload something that is a cut and paste activity for students. They have the paper copy and I can "cut" parts and move them to sequence.

Bring Back Target Practice Can you bring back the old "Target Practice" Game from the original Smart Notebook? I used it all the time as a Social Studies teacher. It is great for Map Practice, and the kids used to love it. There is nothing like it on Smart Learning Suite.

I was curious if smart was able to create an electronic portfolio via Lumio. I was curious if smart was able to create an electronic portfolio via Lumio. Students sign in with their school email to complete a range of Lumio activities from Math and English to digital art. Currently there doesn’t appear to be a way where teachers can export individual/collaborative handout activities. I really avoid paper as much as possible especially with a toner shortage. I’m wondering if there is a way where I can have students names on the board>>>Click on a student’s name>> all individual and collaborative handouts a student has completed are visible. The appealing point for Lumio could…

Add images from iPad It would be nice if I could insert images from my iPad’s camera roll when running a Lumio with students. When I create a Whiteboard on the fly, I can add text, draw and highlight, and erase. I’d love to be able to bring in a photo or access my camera to take a picture that would immediately drop in on the Whiteboard.

Move Tool Bar The tool bar is on the left side of lumio. If you are presenting to a class and write with your right hand and do not want to have your back to the class as you write, you stand on the right side of the board. But then you have to walk to the left side to move to a new slide. Like smart notebook, can we have the option to move it to the right side?

Extend the "turn off edit" option to all workspaces/handouts The "new" whole-class whiteboard has the ability to turn on/off editing for students in that workspace. It would be nice if that teacher ability to turn on/off editing ability for students be extended to the group workspaces and Individual Handouts. That way, an asynchronous activity that contains both teacher notes and submitted assessment items can remain accessible to students without being editable.

Allowing images to be searched from the internet for Shout-It-Out Allow images to be added from the internet for Shout-It-Out responses. It is too time consuming for the students to get images on their device, then respond. It was a great feature for an alternate way for students to respond, but not realistic considering it's a quick activity.

Extract Text From a Shout it Out Activity A Shout it Out activity can be used to collect student ideas and feedback. A teacher may wish to have that text converted to editable text on a collaborative workspace page or even a teacher led page. A teacher may wish to copy and paste from the Shout it Out activity to paste on another page. Any way to allow text to be copied and editable on another?

Rename files on your Lumio dashboard I want to be able to change the name of the file right on my dashboard. I do not want to have open a file. Many times there are files that were created when I used the Whiteboard and they are named with the date etc. That is frustrating.

Student led, gradeable quiz I need a quiz that will grade and is able to work in student led mode, not just teacher led.
Is there an option for this? I have tried several types of activities without success to make a quiz that students can access at their own pace without the need of the teacher being in front of them. I would like a quick way to assess that doesn't give them the option fix their response. Does this exist? Please help.

Embed a hyperlink when working with a Lumio Template I love the Lumio Templates, but I do not seem to be able to create a hyperlink in them. I'm not able to convert the template into a Google Slide and put the hyperlink in that way, as a work around. (I put the entire URL in the slide, but it remains inactive.) Thanks for listening.
