AP testing currently allows TI calculators (not desmos).
Using a TI-84 emulator, I have to leave the presentation to show how to use the calculator. This info cannot then be broadcast/shared with student screens.3 votesunder review ·

'Fill' or paint can function
It would be really useful to be able to fill in a shape/object with a colour with one click. Or, alternatively click on the background and be able to autofill with light yellow as this is very helpful for children with dyslexia (reading blue text on a yellow/blue background)

Integrate student logins with Clever.
While in Clever, students could click on the Lumio icon and automatically go to hellosmart.com. Especially for younger students on Chromebooks who don't type or spell very well.

Organizing Resources with Folders
Lumio has so much to offer classroom teachers, especially with the possibility to curate resources and create lessons. For effectiveness, please provide teachers the opportunity to create folders in My Library for organizational purposes. Thank you.

Make Lumio editable!
We put a man on the moon….should be able to figure out how to edit files imported once they’ve been saved!

Thank you for your feedback. We have started adding the ability for teachers to edit imported files. Currently, you can import PowerPoint files as editable with PDF and Google Slides to come.

Within a Lumio presentation, be able to link to other slides in the same Lumio presentation. So if you have a recording sheet on slide 2, and you are working on slide 10, you can click a link within slide 10 to redirect you back to slide 2

Favoriting staying with account not board.
We have multiple teachers who move from classroom to classroom. When they sign into their account on a new device their favorites are not saved. I would like for your favorites to travel with the account versus staying with the board.

Ruler or Grid Lines
Is it possible to add a ruler, or a grid, to help create slides in Lumio? I would like a guide when creating pages to ensure the elements are even and/or straight.

Add transparency slider for images on custom backgrounds in game-based activities
It would be extremely helpful to add an option to adjust transparency of background image for game-based activities with custom backgrounds so that primary text and images are easily seen.

Give teachers the ability to turn off specific tools in whole group whiteboard
When doing a whole group whiteboard and you want students to drag items, the teacher should have the ability to turn off inking so that students do not draw on the page

Import PowerPoint animations. I have slides with animations and when I import them, I loose the animations.

Hand Up Feature in Live individual/group tasks
When doing a live session, it would be great if students had a "hand-up" button that would flag beside their name/group name in the Class Progress dashboard.
This would give students, especially those who may be reluctant to ask questions in front of the class, a discreet way to flag they need help or have a question.

Teachers being able to record voice over for Response assessments.
Teachers can record the question for students to answer (as opposed to typing the question and then students using immersive reader). For example, teachers could say a sight word and students select the correct word from multiple choice answers.
