SCREEN SHADE

Screen shade was an amazing feature that Smart Notebook had. Teachers had the ability to hide information, answers, etc. while keeping a screen up. I saw an article posted over 3 years ago where Smart Learning Suite said it was not a feature added just yet... can we please have this added to Lumio? I have several teachers who are hesitant to use Lumio without this feature being added. Thank you!

    Bring back the Smart Notebook "Screen Shade" option to Lumio. Alot of the teachers won't switch to Lumio if it doesn't have that option

    Hi Sarah,

    You can use the SMARTink screen shade, spotlight and other inktools in Lumio.
    Perfect when you use shout it out for example.

    Hide information on the board from the students, then being able to reveal it

    When I used SmartNotebook, I could put a screen cover into my slides so that I revealed more information as we worked through the slide as a class. When I upload my files to Lumio, that screen cover is removed and I don't see an option to add it back in.

    You are missing features available in the Smart Notebook software, such as as the screen shade. Please add the option to have a screen shade while in Lumio or allow the option to have a screen shade in an imported Smart Notebook file work.

    A button on the side task bar that would put a "privacy screen" over the items in your slides project so that you can slowly show parts of it instead of the whole slide.

    Include some kind of screen shade so that some answers/features on a slide may be covered and revealed. This is helpful for students that have tracking difficulties.
