Thanks for the feedback, Claire. This work is in progress, and we will be releasing it soon. In fact, you will actually be able to get a link to the lesson to share rather than having to download the file.

More than just assessments and activities...??? I used Smartamp as a board for my agenda for each class, then linked activities, videos, and google docs to that board each day. It was great to have one screen with easy access to all the documents I needed. Does Learning Suite have more than just activities and assessments or is it simply just designed for student collaboration?
6 votesHi Jamie. Thanks for letting us know about your use case. We will be adding additional media types to a SMART Learning Suite lesson as well as to Workspace activities. Soon you will be able to insert links to different websites and videos in a Workspace activity, and we are planning to add the ability to compose your lessons with other media like Youtube videos and web links.

Zoom in out and scroll I am a heavy user of the software to present and interact with my lessons. In order for my students to see well, I would like to be able to Zoom in out, scroll up and down but what you write on the board stays attached to the image. The online concept is a great idea but without that feature it is no useful for me. Thank you

I cannot find any way to save the work done online. When I present and make annotations how can I save them in sls online? I cannot see a save button and I am not asked to save when I log off.

provide feedback without students editing I work with about 100 4th graders and only use Lumio asynchronously. I have them record a short passage and answer comprehension questions weekly. I would like a way to end the activity but allow students to see feedback I currently have them turn in a paper with their answers and I provide feedback on their paper regarding their fluency and comprehension. I would like to avoid the paper part. I also don't want them altering their work attempts. I want the students to see progress and growth over time.

PLEASE add a CROP tool/button to CROP images, as it takes hours currently to save and screen shot each individual AAC image before uploading PLEASE add a CROP tool/button to CROP images, as it takes hours currently to save and screenshot each individual AAC picture symbol image before uploading. Additionally, if I try to upload a PPT that I have already made (after spending hours cropping all existing images and visuals) all of the pictures that I previously cropped blow up and I am left without any option or button to re-crop the images, leaving me to seek other tools with a crop button where this is an option.

Canva integration for European accounts Right now, Canva is integrated into Lumio only for Global region SMART accounts. It would be great to enable this for the European region as well :)

Being able to change background and backside on the cards when making a memory Hi! I´m working with young people (ages from 16-20) with learning disabilities and other disabilities (e.g autism) at a High school and I would like to be able to change the background for the memory-activity and also the backside for the memory-cards. The memory-cards all have different figures at the back and that makes it difficult for our students, if it would be possible to have the same backside on all cards they would be more like the "physical" memory-cards we use. When it comes to the background it can sometimes be better to have a more neutral background that…

jamboard Is there any way that you could make it so that Jamboard files from Google Drive could be imported and converted to Lumio files prior to Jamboard being discontinued? I have teachers who have a lot of lessons they'd love to port in to Lumio.
Thanks!

memory match I like to use a memory game. It's a pity that the design is still the same and can't be changed. Animals are nice, but I'd like a change. Is there any way?

embed website PearDeck has the ability to embed a webpage directly into the presentation. For example, I may be giving a lesson on a historical site. I can have 1/2 the screen show my notes and 1/2 the screen show an embedded website such as Google Earth or maybe an interactive science/math app while teaching a specific science/math concept.
This keeps the learners in one presentation so that they do not have to leave and return. I can also embed a Google Form, Doc, Sheets, etc on 1/2 the page so that my students can interact with these while still in the…

Could the fill colors for shapes have an opacity scale, from transparent to opaque? If I were to use the circles as bingo chips, I would like to be able to see through them like real bingo chips! Then I can verify if the student's selection is correct. Also, the student could still see their answer, without it being completely hidden.

Export student responses Pear Deck has the ability to export student responses (and provide feedback post lesson completion). Students get a Google Doc with the lesson and their own responses which eliminates the need for students to take notes along with completing the activities which doubles their work effort. The teacher also gets a Google Doc with ALL the students responses. This would be a great asset for reviewing student work after the lesson is complete and building a portfolio of work to see and evaluate student progress.

pre-approve student responses on whiteboard When students are all working on a class whiteboard, I would love for there to be a way for the teacher to approve student submissions before they go live. That way, a teacher can filter out any inappropriate comments or images before posting
