jamboard
Is there any way that you could make it so that Jamboard files from Google Drive could be imported and converted to Lumio files prior to Jamboard being discontinued? I have teachers who have a lot of lessons they'd love to port in to Lumio.
Thanks!

Restrict students from changing their names in Lumio.
Allow teachers to restrict students from changing their names when logging into Lumio.
Ex: Students continue to change their names to something inappropriate and then respond with inappropriate messages in Lumio activities. Teachers then have difficulty tracing which student this is tied to so it would be helpful for teachers to restrict students from changing their names.53 votesunder review · AdminSMART Technologies Product Management (Product Manager, SMART Technologies) respondedThank you for making us aware of this issue. We are looking at ways to help teachers better identify signed in students and hold them accountable.

Option to create school level libraries or sub-organizational libraries
Option to create school level libraries or sub-organizational libraries and use Google groups for permissions to view and manage the library. We would like our teachers to see a District Library as well as a School Library that is only for their staff. I would like to be able to assign an admin at that school to manage permissions. Using Google Groups, the staff for the school would sync with Google.

mix and match
words are being split apart, it's really hard to read, and can't read the the full text description. There should be an option to change the box size and text size of text.

Audio
I love that I can add audio instructions to the page but it would be more helpful if I could add audio to multiple places on the page or to the games along with the images or words. This could be so that the student can hear the proper pronunciation of a vocabulary word.

Timers (not widgets) for Whiteboard/Lumio lessons
I would like to be able to embed a timer (or multiple timers) on a Whiteboard page, which I can then start independently (each timer). I like using multiple timers (widgets) to drive instruction, but I have to pull each timer widget onto the Whiteboard each time.

reports of student activity on Lumio
Access to a summary report showing the participation levels of all students in all activities of the Lumio given. Nearpod has a summarized report that allows for grading by specific activity or overall participation. A report that can be generated like this would be extremely helpful to me as an educator.

The Ability to Add Audio Files to Pages and Game Based Activities
I would like the ability to add audio clips to pages and game based activities. If I can add video, and I can add images, I should also be able to add audio. Adding audio would be helpful with activities for Multilingual students, students in foreign language classes, and activities created for music, choir, or band and orchestra. Or just for teachers who are creating activities with vocabulary concepts that would benefit from an audio click attached.

Magic Pen
I would LOVE to see the Magic Pen on Whiteboard. More and more teachers are signing into the board and delivering their lessons through Whiteboard/Lumio but they miss Magic Pen. How great would it be to have the benefits of Magic Pen? Disappearing Ink, Spotlight, and Zoom!
52 votesunder review · AdminSMART Technologies Product Management (Product Manager, SMART Technologies) respondedThanks for your feedback. We are interested in supporting the benefits of Magic Pen. How would you expect this tool to work on student devices when the teacher uses it on the board?

Please give teacher's the option to default to Teacher OR Student Pacing. I would default to Student Pacing if I could.
Currently, Lumio defaults to Teacher Pacing. Most of the time I want students to be able to access my Lumio files at their own pace. So I have to change to Student Pacing. And that doesn't seem to stick! Being able to chose which I want to default to would be great and save me (and my students) a great deal of pain. (This seems to be the case even with the student links, which is how my students access the pages.)

Being able to change background and backside on the cards when making a memory
Hi! I´m working with young people (ages from 16-20) with learning disabilities and other disabilities (e.g autism) at a High school and I would like to be able to change the background for the memory-activity and also the backside for the memory-cards. The memory-cards all have different figures at the back and that makes it difficult for our students, if it would be possible to have the same backside on all cards they would be more like the "physical" memory-cards we use. When it comes to the background it can sometimes be better to have a more neutral background that…

Smart Notebook Files that don't autosave in Lumio
I have resources that are in Smart Notebook format that I purchased. I have them uploaded to Lumio. These are interactive documents where students come to my Smart Board and manipulate the slideshow...move the objects around, etc. Lumio automatically autosaves these changes. When I use my computer hooked up to my Smart Board, I use Smart Notebook and I can't save the changes because the files are "read only." Lumio automatically saves the changes, even when I choose "start" instead of "edit.". This means I have to go in and individually delete every single cloned object, and put every page…

Fix numbering and bullet feature
The numbering and bullet feature in Lumio is messed up. Worked fine in 2023-2024 school year, but this year it is a hot mess. Please fix. Working with it is very frustrating.

Make the QR code optional for every lesson
Every single lesson in Lumio pops up a QR code to get the students to join. Not every lesson needs them to have their own tablet with the lesson in front of them. As a first grade teacher, I want their focus for our lessons to be on me, not on their own tablets. It is very annoying to have every single lesson, all day every day pop up this code. It should be optional for lessons that have activities in them, but not on every single one.

text on activity thumbnail in editor
When editing, if I have multiple "shout it out" slides, I do not know which is which. This also applies to multiple polls, quizzes, etc.
It would be helpful to have some of the text/title show up in the thumbnail of those activities within the editor.1 voteunder review · AdminSMART Technologies Product Management (Product Manager, SMART Technologies) respondedThanks for the feedback. You can set a name for each activity, which will show on the page, and we will look into how to display this name in the page thumbnail for easy viewing.

whole-class whiteboard
Please add the ability for students to NOT be able to edit other students' responses on whiteboard! Make it a choice to a) all edit (all can mess around), b) only submit but NOT edit (the students can participate in the activity but NOT mess with the other students' responses), c) select a random/specific student to respond (check boxes to select/deselect).
