Please make possible to check on students work without having to display lesson
It would be great if I could review my student's answers without having to start lesson. It is a problem that students could see what I'm doing while reviewing my students' answers even when we are no longer in class.

Thanks for the feedback. We are working on allowing teachers to review student work in a lesson without also implicitly delivering the lesson live and making it visible to all connected students.

Six ideas
I'm a moderate to severe special education teacher. All of my students are non-verbal and do not read. I use a large number of images that are moved or selected so that they can demonstrate understanding. Often we do an activity where they do work on an iPad while I model on the board. Some simple features that I would really like would be:
- Drag and drop images onto a page.
- Lock the size and rotation of objects but allow them to be moved around the page.

Add an ANIMATION feature or enable seamless uploading of PPT/Google slides or Canva presentations with animations.
Add an ANIMATION feature (custom animation or a variety of animation options or both) or enable/allow seamless and functional uploading of pre-animated PPT/Google slides or Canva presentations. Currently I spend a significant amount of time using other software (Google slides, PPT, Canva) to design animated presentations (Ex. decoding short vowel letters and words animations when I am designing Science of Reading lessons to teach my special education students to segment, blend, and stretch CVC/CVCE words) but when I try uploading the animated lessons into Lumio none of the animations transfer or upload. Restrict the pinch to zoom in function so that students with fine motor challenges are able to complete activities without altering it.
I would like to restrict the "pinch to zoom-in" function so that students with fine motor challenges do not accidentally zoom-in during a lesson when they are using more than 1 finger to move objects on their screens.

Pre-set timer
I would like the option to pre-set a timer for an activity, so when I click "start" the timer automatically starts counting down.

Please make it possible to insert links onto words intead of the insert link function.
If I want to insert a link I have to use the insert link button (pic 1)
And when I do I get an ugly link.
It should be possible to hide an link into words directly

Add calming music to the timer as an option
I would like a feature where either there is a predetermined set of a few options of calming music to play while the timer runs OR a way to link music from YouTube, etc. to run while the timer runs :)

Thank you for sharing your idea! The "lock mode" feature in Google Forms is a special tool designed specifically for Google Workspace for Education and managed Chromebooks. It works because Google Forms is deeply integrated with the Chromebook management system, allowing it to restrict students from accessing other websites or apps during an activity.
Currently, this type of functionality isn’t something external websites like Lumio can achieve because it relies on direct integration with ChromeOS's administrative tools. While it’s not possible at this time, we will continue to monitor changes in technology that might make similar features more accessible in the future. We appreciate your feedback!

Allow page scrolling on the same toolbar as pen tools (like it was before).
I don't like having to switch toolbars every time I want to go to the next page after writing on a current page. Before, scrolling between pages was on the same toolbar as the pen tools

Individual Quiz
Having a Quiz option where it is individual and the questions are all done at the same pace. Kids can answer quickly but have to wait until the time limit is over to go to the next one.

Connect multiple SMART Boards
It would be amazing if we could connect multiple boards. If a teacher is teaching a lesson from one SMART Board, students from a different room with another SMART board can access the teacher's board simultaneously.

Audio for Flip Out
It would be useful to be able to add audio to the flip out cards for foreign language learners. Or, be able to embed quizlet flashcards.

Subtitles/Closed Captioning During Presentation
When presenting I would love if the presentation allowed you to use your microphone to allow subtitles/closed captioning during the presentation. These closed captioning/ subtitles would also allow you to get translation into other languages. Many times, our teachers need this and use PowerPoint as their presentation and sometimes go back and forth to use single activities in Lumio. This would create a big buy in.

Add your own images to Gallery
I would like to have a feature where I can take images that I find and add them to the Gallery on the board so I can access on the whiteboard as well as in Lumio. This way I can reuse these images in other files without having to search the web again or making copies of the entire file. This would be similar to what Canva and Adobe Express has when I upload images.

Adding a feature such a shift clicking to select multiple slides in the presentations to then add various features in edit mode.

Add an optional text box in Monster Quiz
Create an option for a text box in the Monster Quiz, so that students can answer multiple choice questions about the text. This would enable them to refer to the text on the same screen as the questions.
