Hey all, there's a known issue with incorrect expiration dates in this beta release. Unfortunately, there isn't a simple fix so we recommend downloading the previous version you had installed. To download a previous version of SMART Notebook please go here https://education.smarttech.com/products/notebook/download. Underneath "Step 1 - Enter your key", you'll find a button that says: "Or: Click to choose a specific version of Notebook without entering a key". Click the version you previously had and download.
Later this month, we'll have the full release of SMART Notebook 17.0. There will not be any issues with expiration. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please feel free to send me a direct email if you have additional comments, concerns or questions. My email is davepark@smarttech.com.

I have exactly the same problem. Took contact with info@smarttech they told me they can do nothing and I have to go here. I uninstalled 11.4 version and now I can't work anymore... Please a solution
