Quick update: we're working through the licensing details on Victorian Cursive to confirm whether we're clear to bring it into Lumio. For Calibri, which we can't include directly since it's a licensed Microsoft font, we're looking into a metric-compatible substitute so text built in Calibri elsewhere still renders correctly in Lumio.
No timeline yet. We'll post again once there's more to share.

Table
I create slides all the time in Lumio and I am always frustrated that I can't create a table like the table in Smart Notebook. Please find a way to add that tool to the toolbox.

Make custom recipes in the widget wall sharable to others
Widget wall is really terrific! I would love the ability to create one that I can then share to others teachers, either in my department or to others in the school.

Have a trash bin for Class Sessions.
Please make a trash can for Class Sessions like there is in My Library. If a teacher accidentally deletes a lesson from the Class Sessions tab, there is no way to retrive the changes or work affiliated with that file.

Save an edited session back to My Library as a new file
Currently, when teachers edit a Session, those edits only apply to the Session itself and are not reflected in the original file in My Library. Teachers have asked for a way to preserve the edits they make during or after delivery without carrying over the student work.
This idea proposes adding the ability to save an edited Session back to My Library as a new file.
This would:
- Preserve all teacher edits made to the Session.
- Exclude student work so the file is clean for reuse.
- Allow teachers to keep an updated version of their lesson/assignment without needing to manually…

Folders in Class Sessions
Now that class sessions is a thing, it would be nice if teachers had more control over how it is organized. Having it sort by date is going to get messy very quickly. Plus I use Lumio for multiple classes which adds to the confusion.
Allow us to create folders and organize them in Class Sessions.

export answers to a spreadsheet
Export answers to a spreadsheet so we can grade easily from the spreadsheet instead of going into each slide individually (like peardeck). IT would be cool if we could see all the answers in a spreadsheet, and click a student's name and see their individual answers.

Digital Citizenship
It would be amazing to see Lumio team up with Common Sense Education to bring their Digital Citizenship lessons straight into the Lumio library. Their free resources complete with slides, videos, and handouts are already trusted by educators everywhere and would plug right into Lumio’s existing setup. This kind of partnership would make digital citizenship and digital literacy and well-being lessons easier to find, simpler to teach, and more consistent across classrooms. Plus, it highlights Lumio as the go to space for quality, ready-to-use content teachers actually use right away and depend on.

Changing from one game-based activity to another.
After creating a game-based activity and entering all the words and their meanings, and after saving the game, sometimes I'll realize perhaps another game-based activity would be a better fit. Is there a way to change one game-based activity to another using the words I had already entered? It seems I'd have to retype the whole thing again if I were to decide to use a different game-based activity. That eats up a lot of my time.

default teacher handout or dashboard for all pages
In live mode, if teacher has selected "Teacher handout," subsequent handout pages should default to "teacher handout" while in live mode. If teacher has selected "Dashboard," subsequent pages should default to "Dashboard" mode.

Audio that will read questions and answers in games
Hello,
I have teachers that would love to have an audio feature that will read questions and answers in the games. We have some students that are not able to participate with the interactive games. Please add the audio feature to the games, so that all students have an opportunity to participate.7 votes -
provide feedback without students editing
I work with about 100 4th graders and only use Lumio asynchronously. I have them record a short passage and answer comprehension questions weekly. I would like a way to end the activity but allow students to see feedback I currently have them turn in a paper with their answers and I provide feedback on their paper regarding their fluency and comprehension. I would like to avoid the paper part. I also don't want them altering their work attempts. I want the students to see progress and growth over time.

whiteboard locking improvements
Improved Whiteboard Controls
It would be beneficial to make the whiteboard more classroom-friendly by automatic locking of of graphics, and other items that teachers add to the whiteboard so that only the teacher can move or edit them. Students should only be able to edit or move their own text and images and should not be able to alter or move another student's work.1 vote -

It would be really nice to be able to add text to the shapes or at least be able to group a text box with a shape so they can be moved together.

Bring back full screen for camera app
The camera app used to take up the entire screen and now if only displays on half the screen. I would like you to update the camera app to allow for full screen again. As an art teacher only having half the space on the screen is impeding student learning.
