Embed videos lumio Allow Videos to be embedded directly in Lumio (like they are in the SMART Notebook). If I am tweaking a slideshow imported from SMART notebook, I want to be able to switch out a video and have it be directly in the slides without having to change it in Smart Notebook, and import all of the slides again.

Make added audio available on the SmartBoard itself, not just on student devices. Currently, audio added to Lumio files can only be accessed on student devices. I would like students to be able to use my Smartboard in class to click on the audio files and hear them.

multiple choice I would like to see a game-based activity where every question is its own slide...one slide will have a question (with image, text & voice recording options or all three). Students can respond by clicking on the correct answer (in tile format). Answers can be multiple choice or true/false answers (with image, text & voice recording options or all three). Immediate feedback is given. Slide advances to the next question.

Voice recordings For game-based activities, would like to have the option of adding a voice recording instead of just text or image which would be helpful in designing phonemic awareness activities.

Add audio to game pieces There are similar ideas, which are great! Just to clarify: for example, make it easy to make a match-up game where one card is the audio and another is the word, to be able to practice reading. In general, having clickable audio options able to be attached to pieces that might also have text/images/etc. This would be SO helpful for kids with LD to practice reading etc.

have the "Vs" game options pair or group students in the class. Be able to group students to play games against each other. Be able to create small groups to work on differentiated assignments.

Have Students See What Teacher Writes on Teacher Handout I would love for students to be able to see as I model working out examples on the teacher handout. Also, after modeling on the teacher handout, I would like to be able to click/toggle something that allows students to be able to then write on their handouts, but can still see the teacher handout with notes as they continue working on their handout individually.

Thanks for the feedback. We will consider this as future improvements for the Handout dashboard. In the meantime, you can have the handout as a normal page before the Handout activity. This way, when you model the activity on the normal page, it will be visible to all students.

Divided Shape Notebook Import to Lumio I would love it if the Divided Shapes created in Notebook worked when imported into Lumio. Also, I would love it if you could change the font, size, and color of the fractions if you choose to show fractions.

Creating Custom Stickers and Sticker Favorites The new stickers are a really nice feature that call back to some of the things people loved all the way back to SMART Notebook.
I already know the question I will field as I introduce this to staff. How can we create our own stickers?
Our teachers love to personalize lessons, and this is just one more way that they can do this.
The following question will be: Can I favorite certain stickers that I use most often to access them quickly and easily?
Two ideas that will make teachers lives just a little better!

Clark County School District Safe list Your innovative platform that gamifies learning and fosters a collaborative environment is exactly what we need in the Clark County School District (CCSD) here in Nevada—the 4th largest school district in the nation! 🚀🌟
We're always on the lookout for tools that go beyond just quizzes and offer a superior experience to platforms like Kahoot. 🎮✨ Your software seems like a perfect fit to engage our students and enhance their learning experience. 👩🎓👨🎓
However, to bring your amazing platform into our classrooms, it's essential that you join CCSD's Safe List of approved educational software and applications. 📝🔒 Without being on…

Bing (Safe Search) Please consider using Google Safe Search rather than Bing. Bing, even though it says "safe search" is not a safe search. We often find inappropriate images get through even with our strict filtering and firewall. According to our firewall vendor, Bing does not enforce safe searches. Due to this, Bing should not be the search engine of choice in the educational setting.

Circle/Tap to Erase - Bring this feature from Notebook to Lumio Teachers in my district loved being able to erase a large section of annotations in SMART Notebook by circling the area to erase and then tapping in the center of that circle. It would be really helpful to add that same erase option for those who have transitioned to Lumio.

Allow one student at a time to edit/ write on the lesson. Instead of every student having access to edit at once, I think the teacher should be able to click on a student and give JUST that student control to edit. When they all can edit at once, they act silly.

Being able to change background and backside on the cards when making a memory Hi! I´m working with young people (ages from 16-20) with learning disabilities and other disabilities (e.g autism) at a High school and I would like to be able to change the background for the memory-activity and also the backside for the memory-cards. The memory-cards all have different figures at the back and that makes it difficult for our students, if it would be possible to have the same backside on all cards they would be more like the "physical" memory-cards we use. When it comes to the background it can sometimes be better to have a more neutral background that…

Thanks for the suggestion. We may explore more neutral themes for the Memory Match activity.

More Characters on the Rank Order I would love to be able to use sentences on the rank order. For instance, students can rank events in order of when they happened from a particular part of history. Right now you can only rank words, but ranking sentences would be amazing!

We will consider making the layout of Rank Order more flexible to accommodate longer text.
