allow for shout it out to have images AND text in the same file
Shout it Out allows for text OR images. As students upload their images, they could add text to describe their image, add name/group, etc to have more information in one place.

start all activities in one file at the same time
One file used for different parts of a project is created. Groups go through the project at different times. This would allow students to work through it at their own pace and complete the work as time allowed.

upload videos to Shout It Out...this would allow Ss to create a new level of eval in STEM activities
In Makerspace, many things we create are moving or students like to explain their project. This will allow them to submit their idea and show the different levels of their creations or how it could work if we had the tools. For example, students created a hover board out of recyclable materials. A video would give them the change to explain all parts of it.

Links in SMART Notebook files are not active after being uploaded to SLSO
After building a SMART Notebook file & uploading to SLSO, none of the links are active: webpage, sound effects, YouTube videos, etc.
Will this be a future option?
Thank you.

Allow SMART amp workspaces that have already been created to be uploaded into SMART Learning Suite Online.
SMART has provided directions for this process on their website, but they do not work. SMART amp workspaces are exported as a .wst file and SMART Learning Suite Online will only allow Notebook, PDF, and PPT files to be uploaded.

We NEED the ability to save content to use in multiple activities!
In Notebook, you can save content to use again in other types of activities. This would be an awesome feature in SLSO!

Import Smart Notebook Files for individual student practice maintaining the animations for use of Smart Notebook 16 files for use on Google
must be able to use these lessons while maintaining animations with Google Chrome books. This is a major issue for teachers who have created many lessons in Notebook 16 yet districts are providing Google Chrome Books to students.

Possobility to add few classes to Smart lab
I teach seven different groups (session in each is 45 minutes). It would be really helpful if I could add few classes with different IDs.
8 votesHi. Thanks for your feedback. This work is highly requested and planned in our backlog. Stay tuned for future updates.

How can we make this collaborative between classrooms, schools and the world?
I want to work with classes around the world!
2 votesHi Lissa. Thanks for the suggestion. That sounds like a really cool use case. Collaborating asynchronously with global classrooms will get much easier once we add the ability for students to sign in to access lessons at any time and to add students to groups once the collaboration has already started.

Need to be able to create new files and have feature parity w/ traditional SMART Notebook
My district currently utilizes the free Limited Mode version of SMART Notebook. We are interested in Smart Learning Suite Online, but before we can buy, I need SLSO to allow users to create NEW notebook file. We are a G Suite for Education district and are in a transition to Chromebooks. Our teachers have Windows computers currently, but we cannot adopt any solution that precludes the use of a Chromebook as an option for a planned purchase of new faculty laptops in June 2021. We are looking to establish a recommended and supported standard for our teacher's instructional and interactive…
14 votesThank you for taking the time to send us such thorough feedback. We do plan on expanding on our lesson creation feature set in 2019. However, since Notebook is a large and complex application, we would really appreciate feedback on the prioritization of different creation features. If you don’t mind, please reply to this message, and we can reach out to you directly about the details.

Thank you for the feedback. What would be your preferred default for the colour and thickness? Is the current default too thick or too thin?

(By the way: Smart is EXCELLENT!)
3 votesThank you for your feedback. We will look at ways to make the activity layout more flexible. Do you have an example of a sentence you would like to use? This will help us understand the length of text we need to support.

Pen, keyboard and gallery
I would really like that the ss have the opportunity to get the pen, the keyboard and the gallery choices when I hand out individual activities, too. Not only when I give them a collaborativ activity.
4 votesThanks for your feedback, Kristin. This is currently being worked on, and we are looking to release it in early 2019.

A delete or trash can on regular pages.
There is no way to get rid of objects on the regular lesson pages.
10 votesThanks for the feedback, Kate. We may be adding more editing functionality to the delivery experience to tweak the content. May I ask if the delete is for removing new objects created with infinite cloner?
If the page with the infinite cloner is meant as an activity, one way to deal with objects created is to explicitly convert the page to a Handout activity. Not only does this enable all students to interact with the activity, but it also allows you to reset the activity, thus removing objects created with infinite cloner.
