Remove lock pin Please give us a way to remove lock pins. It's easy enough to create and change the lock pin, but there's no way to remove it. Now that I've been able to set up my Smart card, I don't need a lock pin. I'd like to remove the pin from my board and there's currently no way to do so.

We're currently looking at ways to provide options to relax the security requirements for the SMART cards so that PINs are optional.

Option to disable input popup I would like the option to disable the popup for switching inputs when you plug something in. Our staff uses multiple inputs and that popup just gets in the way. One froze on the screen for a whole day and the teacher had to work around it. If it is going to be useful, we should have the option to keep it up long enough to be able to get to it before it goes away. So length of time options as well as disabling would be nice.

Touch Screen Sensitivity I've had several customers comment on how they would like to be able to adjust the touch screen sensitivity. The main reason would be to decrease the sensitivity to avoid false triggers.

Minimize Pause Indication + Audio pass through while paused Hello, I may have a unique request. My school district recently acquired the SMART Board MX series for our classrooms in order to replace our aging projectors. I frequently use to the pause function to flip through slides on my computer, which is tethered to the board. (It works better for me than using it as an extended display). While paused, the old projector would display a small, unobtrusive "freeze" message in the top right corner. I could flip back and forth subtly, with minimal visual disturbance for my students. Please update MX086-V2 drivers to fix issue with On-Screen keyboard and Windows We have an Smart Board MX086-V2 and at some time the on-screen keyboard started to not pop-up when the signal from our PC with Windows 10 is shown in the board. The on-screen keyboard works well with the board menus (settings and so on) and even when Windows is configured in tablet mode. But with normal mode of Windows we are forced to use the Windows virtual keyboard. SmartTech support says it is a bug in the latest V2 drivers (we have an MX086-V4 working well). Make your boards more modular Instead of coming out with the latest and greatest versions to mimic Apple’s unrealistic release schedule, please make your boards more module and spend the time to upgrade and update existing technology. Nothing says “Don’t buy more Smartboards” like knowing your current tech you just spent hundreds of thousands on is now headed for the discontinued section. Make the side input ports more modular and replaceable (HDMI 2.1 for instance), and include cameras, RFID readers and other future enhancements all as modules on current boards. Homebildschirm Hallo, wir haben einen SBID-GX086-v2 im Einsatz. Ich habe dort als Hintergrundbild ein individuelles Bild meiner Firma im Einsatz. Leider wird unser Logo etc. komplett von den angehefteten Apps + Uhrzeit/Datum verdeckt.
Die Apps kann man nicht verschieben, z. B. in eine Ecke des Bildschirms. Oder warum kann man die Uhrzeit / Apps nicht ausblenden?

Contrast The image quality of the 6000S series is insufficient. This could be solved by adjusting the contrast of the display. At the moment this is not possible. My request is to make it possible to adjust the contrast of the display.

Make a smaller version of the Smart Podium 624 The Smart Podium 624 works well in a lot of our classroom spaces, but sometimes it's too big for some of our smaller lecterns. We'd like to see a smaller version that could be used for these spaces.

In einigen Grundschulen in Berlin werden SMART Boards der Serie 6075 S eingesetzt, um Schülern eine interaktive Lernumgebung zu bieten. Innerhalb dieser Schülerschaft befinden sich auch sehbehinderte Kinder, für die eine barrierefreie Umgebung von entscheidender Bedeutung ist.
In Anbetracht dessen würden wir uns sehr darüber freuen, wenn Sie die Möglichkeit prüfen könnten, eine barrierfreie Einstellung für die SMART Displays zu implementieren. Diese Einstellung würde es den sehbehinderten Schülern ermöglichen, die Displays effektiver zu nutzen und am Unterricht auf gleicher Augenhöhe teilzunehmen.

The school I provide technical support for have acquired laptops with a native 1920x1200 resolution requires recalibration/orient and we're hoping to maximise screen real estate on the SMARTBoards

Please update the V2 iQH811 boards to actually turn off the on-screen keyboard. Please update the V2 iQH811 boards to actually turn off the on-screen keyboard when a physical keyboard is plugged in. As of now the toggle does nothing but the toggle works on newer boards. Please continue to support older hardware (that is not really old at all).

Remove ability to do FActory Reset to avoid security. We currently work in a lockdown facility, and wish to limit the students ability to change configurations on the smartboard. As such, we've implemented the lockdown of security settings with a USB certificate.
However, Students can easily do a factory reset on the board through settings-diagnositics.
The ability to reset the board to factory default status completely makes the security lock irrelevant. I understand the need to do a reset should the certificate become lost - or the USB ports become inoperable.
However, perhaps a series of key commands could server this purpose rather than an easily discovered diagnostic command?5 votes -
Board login Need to have a way to login to the board with Google account that does not require entering username and password on the screen. Also need a way to enter the screen lock PIN without having to do it on the board.
Not practical or secure to do this in front of a class full of students!
Best solution would be through app that connects to board that teacher can login with so it is not seen on board.9 votesunder review ·

Alternative login solutions are being considered for future iterations of iQ. Our latest panels also come with NFC for login, however, this likely will not help if your board currently is not equipped with an NFC reader.
