  1. Start Location of Page

    Update the "start" location of the whiteboard to be the upper "left" rather than in the middle. If a teacher wants to scroll / zoom / move for more space, then the content is not aligned to the left it is in the middle, not making for clean notes / easy for students to follow.

  2. Sweep Select

    Ability to sweep and select multiple files / folders in file management. Easier method than tap and hold / drag and drop. More intuitive like what we use on a cell phone.

  4. Automatically set homepage

    A way to run a script via usb or other to automate certain tasks to make panels uniform. In my case i would like to set all homepages on all the boards in the building to something in particular, instead of having to open browser and go into settings.

  6. SMART iQ™ 3.8 app store improvements

    The new SMART iQ™ 3.8 app store should just provide apps which are really useful to be installed on a SMART Board® interactive display. I've tried to install the screen record app provided in the SMART iQ™ 3.8 app store, but this app had been designed obviously only for smartphones. So when starting the app it goes visually in landscape mode (so you have to do the George Clooney look and put your head to one side), BUT the app is responding to touch events still in portrait mode.   7. Lock individual settings

    It should be possible to individual select which of the settings should be locked by the USB token. If you use the lock settings option in SMART iQ™ right now, certain options are still available which can be crucial - the factory reset for example is still possible even if the settings are locked. A lot of teachers are complaining that this will be used by students to play pranks with the result that the SMART Board® interactive display can't be used for a while.

  9. USB soundbar capability

    It would be great if, similarly to a USB webcam and microphone, the Smart Board could recognize a USB sound bar as an output device.
    With the wide range of all-in-one bars, it would be really useful.

  10. File input in whiteboard app

    It would be perfect if I could insert local files directly into the smartboard app. Gladly via USB. It would also be nice to be able to integrate remote drives, for example a NAS.

  11. System-wide Bottom-mode, placing all navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen.

    Some teachers can't reach the back-button and address bar in top of the screen, and that is a huge problem. - A system-wide Bottom-mode would fix this.

    It would be great if you could show a message on the Display, when a specific app through the Remote Management is disabled. Like "This app is disabled"

  14. Security permissions and Tags

    Allow the Tags for User Accounts to function as you would expect. If I have a Technician in charge of three buildings and I have the Boards tagged for Building Codes, I would expect to be able to limit that user to engage their permissions on just those devices with those tags. This currently does not work.

  15. Account and Login Issues

    On a fully updated MX series panel, signing into the SMART panel using the face icon limits the user's ability to sign in to Microsoft Office 365 in the browser. The login screen will not appear, leaving a white screen.

    We tried this with two different users signing into the panel. Both received the same results.
    When no one is signed into the panel, this behavior does not appear.

    How to replicate:
    1. Use the face icon to sign into the panel using our Microsoft credentials.
    2. Open browser and go to office.com.
    3. Click Sign In.

    When you are logged into an account on the display.
    The option to change the region disappers in the settings.
    Despite no possibility to change it specifically on the SMART Account itself. Is that an intended feature?

  20. iQ browser crashes using Response 2 in SLSO

    When I used the browser in the IQ system, and used Response 2 in SLSO, it crashed 4 times in a row....then I went back to the computer. Perhaps there is a bug?
