Make added audio available on the SmartBoard itself, not just on student devices.
Currently, audio added to Lumio files can only be accessed on student devices. I would like students to be able to use my Smartboard in class to click on the audio files and hear them.

multiple choice
I would like to see a game-based activity where every question is its own slide...one slide will have a question (with image, text & voice recording options or all three). Students can respond by clicking on the correct answer (in tile format). Answers can be multiple choice or true/false answers (with image, text & voice recording options or all three). Immediate feedback is given. Slide advances to the next question.

Voice recordings
For game-based activities, would like to have the option of adding a voice recording instead of just text or image which would be helpful in designing phonemic awareness activities.

Add audio to game pieces
There are similar ideas, which are great! Just to clarify: for example, make it easy to make a match-up game where one card is the audio and another is the word, to be able to practice reading. In general, having clickable audio options able to be attached to pieces that might also have text/images/etc. This would be SO helpful for kids with LD to practice reading etc.

Creating Custom Stickers and Sticker Favorites
The new stickers are a really nice feature that call back to some of the things people loved all the way back to SMART Notebook.
I already know the question I will field as I introduce this to staff. How can we create our own stickers?
Our teachers love to personalize lessons, and this is just one more way that they can do this.
The following question will be: Can I favorite certain stickers that I use most often to access them quickly and easily?
Two ideas that will make teachers lives just a little better!

Clark County School District Safe list
Your innovative platform that gamifies learning and fosters a collaborative environment is exactly what we need in the Clark County School District (CCSD) here in Nevada—the 4th largest school district in the nation! 🚀🌟
We're always on the lookout for tools that go beyond just quizzes and offer a superior experience to platforms like Kahoot. 🎮✨ Your software seems like a perfect fit to engage our students and enhance their learning experience. 👩🎓👨🎓
However, to bring your amazing platform into our classrooms, it's essential that you join CCSD's Safe List of approved educational software and applications. 📝🔒 Without being on…

Bing (Safe Search)
Please consider using Google Safe Search rather than Bing. Bing, even though it says "safe search" is not a safe search. We often find inappropriate images get through even with our strict filtering and firewall. According to our firewall vendor, Bing does not enforce safe searches. Due to this, Bing should not be the search engine of choice in the educational setting.

Please give teacher's the option to default to Teacher OR Student Pacing. I would default to Student Pacing if I could.
Currently, Lumio defaults to Teacher Pacing. Most of the time I want students to be able to access my Lumio files at their own pace. So I have to change to Student Pacing. And that doesn't seem to stick! Being able to chose which I want to default to would be great and save me (and my students) a great deal of pain. (This seems to be the case even with the student links, which is how my students access the pages.)

Smart Notebook Files that don't autosave in Lumio
I have resources that are in Smart Notebook format that I purchased. I have them uploaded to Lumio. These are interactive documents where students come to my Smart Board and manipulate the slideshow...move the objects around, etc. Lumio automatically autosaves these changes. When I use my computer hooked up to my Smart Board, I use Smart Notebook and I can't save the changes because the files are "read only." Lumio automatically saves the changes, even when I choose "start" instead of "edit.". This means I have to go in and individually delete every single cloned object, and put every page…

Fix numbering and bullet feature
The numbering and bullet feature in Lumio is messed up. Worked fine in 2023-2024 school year, but this year it is a hot mess. Please fix. Working with it is very frustrating.

Make the QR code optional for every lesson
Every single lesson in Lumio pops up a QR code to get the students to join. Not every lesson needs them to have their own tablet with the lesson in front of them. As a first grade teacher, I want their focus for our lessons to be on me, not on their own tablets. It is very annoying to have every single lesson, all day every day pop up this code. It should be optional for lessons that have activities in them, but not on every single one.

text on activity thumbnail in editor
When editing, if I have multiple "shout it out" slides, I do not know which is which. This also applies to multiple polls, quizzes, etc.
It would be helpful to have some of the text/title show up in the thumbnail of those activities within the editor.1 voteunder review ·

Thanks for the feedback. You can set a name for each activity, which will show on the page, and we will look into how to display this name in the page thumbnail for easy viewing.

Automatic sends
As a special education teacher, it would be helpful to have a feature that enables us to automatically send check-ins to our students on a daily or weekly basis. This will assist with data collection and assessing students' social and emotional states.
