When a Shout it Out is finished, students being able to see the results on their device.
When a Shout it Out is finished, it would be good if the students were able to see the results on their device. A class discussion could result in the contributions of the Shout it Out being organised by the teacher into groups or categories - at this stage the students would be in 'view only' mode. The students could use this collaborative collection of ideas in their follow up work if they were able to capture it via a screenshot maybe.

Import Smart Notebook Files for individual student practice maintaining the animations for use of Smart Notebook 16 files for use on Google
must be able to use these lessons while maintaining animations with Google Chrome books. This is a major issue for teachers who have created many lessons in Notebook 16 yet districts are providing Google Chrome Books to students.

start all activities in one file at the same time
One file used for different parts of a project is created. Groups go through the project at different times. This would allow students to work through it at their own pace and complete the work as time allowed.

Ability to create simple powerpoint from SLSO
If I don't have a powerpoint prepared, but can create a simple slideshow for practice problems or general quick notes...that would be great! Rather than quickly creating one, downloading it, then uploading it.

Create a code for students to access content at home to review for a test or to view content if absent from class, set start/stop date
If a student is absent, the student should be able to access content from missed class lesson. Teacher should be able to assign to student to complete. Teacher should be able to set a start and stop date - this could be pushed out to all students for a review.
12 votesThanks for your suggestion. We are planning on supporting students accessing lessons outside of class. We will consider the suggestion to add start and stop dates as well.

Ability to chose whether Shout it Out in SLSO is student paced or teacher driven
Currently, Shout it Out is teacher driven and all students are directed to the activity when the teacher launches it. If the Shout it Out had the option of "student paced" students would to be able to submit images as evidence of learning after completing other SMART activities without having to have the teacher continuously launch Shout it Out.
25 votesThank you for your feedback, Candace. That is a very interesting use case for Shout It Out. We do have plans to make other aspects of SMART Learning Suite Online student paced, and they may address your use case even if they are not directly related to Shout It Out.

Equivalent Numerical Answers -
Is it possible for assessments and monster quizzes to accept answers that are equivalent just not in the same format?
For example. If I type 1/2 , and the student responds with .5 it should be correct. It is difficult as a teacher to think of all ways that students may respond yet still be right. I know I have 4 choices on the short response, . Would having some of the smart notebook math tools alleviate that?
