YouTube Viewing Options for Teacher-Paced Lessons Currently when presenting a teacher-paced lesson, students are able to start an embedded YouTube video instantly on their devices. There is no way for the teacher to control when students are able to start the video which often causes a lot of disruption within the class. Sometimes teachers want to play a YouTube video for the whole class to view together. It would be extremely helpful if teachers could play a YouTube video where students see the video in sync on their devices - OR - where the teacher could at least be able to click the option for students…

Add sound with black screen I would like to be able to add sound/music togehter with a black background so the students just here the sound/music and there are no picture on the screen.

Please make possible to check on students work without having to display lesson It would be great if I could review my student's answers without having to start lesson. It is a problem that students could see what I'm doing while reviewing my students' answers even when we are no longer in class.

Thanks for the feedback. We are working on allowing teachers to review student work in a lesson without also implicitly delivering the lesson live and making it visible to all connected students.

Synch 2 teacher devices without smart panel Synch 2 teacher devices so the lesson can be displayed in teacher mode on 1 device, and student feedback can be reviewed on another.
As a board facilitator on lumio, I've seen training where a teacher laptop and a smart panel are synched and the teacher has the lesson open in teacher mode on bode devices.
There should be a feature for teachers without smart panels to do this so that a live lesson can be displayed on screen for students (e.g. individual and group handouts, student paced games) and the teacher can still update and check student data in…

Downloadable files in lumio It's so unfortunate that you cannot download Lumio files like you were able to do in smart exchange. For those that do not have internet (or when the internet fails), there is no way to access the lumio files. It makes the expesnive smartboard no more than a white board in these classrooms. How sad.

Spreadsheet report with slide info and participation per student I'd love to see a report in a spreadsheet format where I can see, per student, the response to questions, participation, etc.

Add calming music to the timer as an option I would like a feature where either there is a predetermined set of a few options of calming music to play while the timer runs OR a way to link music from YouTube, etc. to run while the timer runs :)

Expand the Shared Library. Adding more than one folder in the Shared Library...why just one?

student audio Allow students to see the screen that they are recording audio for. For example, would like students to be able to see the numbers they are counting forwards or backwards as they record their voice. Currently record feature covers the entire screen.

Thank you for sharing your idea! The "lock mode" feature in Google Forms is a special tool designed specifically for Google Workspace for Education and managed Chromebooks. It works because Google Forms is deeply integrated with the Chromebook management system, allowing it to restrict students from accessing other websites or apps during an activity.
Currently, this type of functionality isn’t something external websites like Lumio can achieve because it relies on direct integration with ChromeOS's administrative tools. While it’s not possible at this time, we will continue to monitor changes in technology that might make similar features more accessible in the future. We appreciate your feedback!

Allow page scrolling on the same toolbar as pen tools (like it was before). I don't like having to switch toolbars every time I want to go to the next page after writing on a current page. Before, scrolling between pages was on the same toolbar as the pen tools

Endre layout på memoryspill Hei. Hadde vært fint om man kunne endre layouten på memoryspillet. Det er veldig forstyrrende for elever med jungeltema når de skal jobbe med temaet jul. Autismevennlig er det heller ikke.

I'd like to embed a small video (from youtube) inside of a slide. Like in the corner, of a slide I have created. Instead of as a whole new s I'd like to embed a video in the corner of a slide I have already created. This way I don't have to leave my content slide to play a video. Currently, you can only embed videos as their own slide.

Connect multiple SMART Boards It would be amazing if we could connect multiple boards. If a teacher is teaching a lesson from one SMART Board, students from a different room with another SMART board can access the teacher's board simultaneously.

Audio for Flip Out It would be useful to be able to add audio to the flip out cards for foreign language learners. Or, be able to embed quizlet flashcards.

Add your own images to Gallery I would like to have a feature where I can take images that I find and add them to the Gallery on the board so I can access on the whiteboard as well as in Lumio. This way I can reuse these images in other files without having to search the web again or making copies of the entire file. This would be similar to what Canva and Adobe Express has when I upload images.

Add an optional text box in Monster Quiz Create an option for a text box in the Monster Quiz, so that students can answer multiple choice questions about the text. This would enable them to refer to the text on the same screen as the questions.

Allow teachers to import smart notebook lessons that are larger than 200 MB - 500 MB would be great!!! There are so many lessons that can't be uploaded because they are larger than the 200 MB maximum. I've heard many teachers say they wouldn't have paid for Lumio if they'd known. My Notebook lessons are quite large because they include many images and video links. It would be beneficial if SmartTech increased the MB quite a bit.
