More Teacher Led Game Activities
I frequently want to have activities where it feels like the class is interacting with each other, the only ones that really have that feel are the two "teacher led" games. I would also really like to have one where the question was the same on the board for everyone and they could see a live leaderboard (like Kahoot). I appreciate the versatility of some of Lumio's features, but nothing seems to captivate students quite like the synchronous competitive nature of Kahoot.
Adding a mode with that same idea of one central scoreboard and synchronized questions would be great

backspace
Backspacing is currently EXTREMELY Glitchy for me, and I think this should work properly.
About 70% of the time when I press backspace while editing activities, it tries to go back to the previous text box, instead of deleting text, the same happens when I press the delete button. It works SOMETIMES but not often. When I make a typing mistake I often have to revert to CTRL X to delete mistaken characters.
This is a horrible bug that makes the software extremely difficult to use

I Spy
It would be nice to insert pics/icons/etc to make a version of I Spy. Including a picture bank like word search.

turn off the "hint" in the word search
In the Word Search game, would be great to have the ability to turn off the "hint" for students that do not need or that you do not want them to have

Add sound with black screen
I would like to be able to add sound/music togehter with a black background so the students just here the sound/music and there are no picture on the screen.

Downloadable files in lumio
It's so unfortunate that you cannot download Lumio files like you were able to do in smart exchange. For those that do not have internet (or when the internet fails), there is no way to access the lumio files. It makes the expesnive smartboard no more than a white board in these classrooms. How sad.

Thank you for sharing your idea! The "lock mode" feature in Google Forms is a special tool designed specifically for Google Workspace for Education and managed Chromebooks. It works because Google Forms is deeply integrated with the Chromebook management system, allowing it to restrict students from accessing other websites or apps during an activity.
Currently, this type of functionality isn’t something external websites like Lumio can achieve because it relies on direct integration with ChromeOS's administrative tools. While it’s not possible at this time, we will continue to monitor changes in technology that might make similar features more accessible in the future. We appreciate your feedback!

Endre layout på memoryspill
Hei. Hadde vært fint om man kunne endre layouten på memoryspillet. Det er veldig forstyrrende for elever med jungeltema når de skal jobbe med temaet jul. Autismevennlig er det heller ikke.

Connect multiple SMART Boards
It would be amazing if we could connect multiple boards. If a teacher is teaching a lesson from one SMART Board, students from a different room with another SMART board can access the teacher's board simultaneously.

Audio for Flip Out
It would be useful to be able to add audio to the flip out cards for foreign language learners. Or, be able to embed quizlet flashcards.

Add an optional text box in Monster Quiz
Create an option for a text box in the Monster Quiz, so that students can answer multiple choice questions about the text. This would enable them to refer to the text on the same screen as the questions.

Disable "Bee" Game while Lesson Loading
While students are waiting for me to begin a lesson in Lumio, I would like to ability to disable the new "bee" game where students beat on their spacebars and yell at each other across the room. This should be an option for educators under their class settings.

Please offer a single Treble Clef staff and a rhythm staff in Lumio for use in K-5 settings for the creation of recorder melodies and also rhythms.

Mass convert files to Lumio
Provide a way for teachers to bulk convert files from one format to another (e.g. all Notebook files in a folder; all Google Slides files in a folder).

Embed videos lumio
Allow Videos to be embedded directly in Lumio (like they are in the SMART Notebook). If I am tweaking a slideshow imported from SMART notebook, I want to be able to switch out a video and have it be directly in the slides without having to change it in Smart Notebook, and import all of the slides again.

Make added audio available on the SmartBoard itself, not just on student devices.
Currently, audio added to Lumio files can only be accessed on student devices. I would like students to be able to use my Smartboard in class to click on the audio files and hear them.
