Split Screen with Multiple Whiteboard/Lumio Files
If multiple whiteboard or Lumio files could be open simultaneously, then there should be the ability to split screen those file types. Currently, you can not open more than one WB/Lumio file at a time, so you cannot split screen between a Lumio file and a WB file.

Open More Than One Whiteboard/Lumio File at a Time
Currently when you open a whiteboard file and want to open another whiteboard or Lumio file, the open file closes. Users should be able to have multiple whiteboard or Lumio files open at a time.

Rename Files from Home Screen
Users would like the ability to rename whiteboard/Lumio files from the panel home screen. Currently all whiteboard files are names with date/time. A right click and rename option would be amazing.

Firmware update download from USB
We have to update multiple displays during an installation on a regular basis (we are a SMART Reseller). The displays are not on a network at the time and may never be allowed so we can only update from USB.
These displays can take 20-30mins each to update so it can take hours to do multiple displays before we can leave site.I would like to see the option to download the file to the display before running the install process. Similar to the network download from SMART's servers.
An alternate would be to download from a connected PC acting…

hide password
Would like to keep students from using the board unsupervised. The password feature would help, if it can be input in small so students cant see it. right now, the password is entered in large so all studetns can see what the password is. otehr option is to allow NFC reader to read card that has password on it.

Link Second NFC Card to Account
I'd like SMART to add the option for teachers to link a second NFC card to their account.
Being in a profession where we must find someone to cover our class when we are gone, planning for another person to be there in our place can be time consuming and difficult, especially when we are trying to make these plans while out sick.
By allowing teachers to link a second NFC card to our SMART accounts, teachers could have a card all configured for a substitute to use without us needing to run our own card in to school or…

NFC Card - Staff ID Cards to work with boards.
We are looking to streamline how our teachers interact with our SMART displays and would love to request a feature enhancement regarding the integrated NFC reader.
According to the documentation on the SMART site, the display supports various ISO 14443 contactless cards. However, when we test our standard staff ID cards—which run on ISO 14443-3A—the display does not register them at all. Scanning one of the official SMART cards with a phone app shows it runs on ISO 15693, which registers fine on the board and prompts the setup screen.

ARM64 support on Windows for SMART Product Drivers
SMART Product Drivers currently does not support ARM64 based Windows devices. Please add support for these devices are they are becoming more common.

Home button of older SMART displays should link to the AM60 homescreen
Hi SMART,
It would be great if the physical home button on the frame of the SMART Board® 6000S/-V3 series would navigate to the SMART iQ™ 4 home screen when using the SMART AM60 appliance as a hardware upgrade. It is very confusing for these customers to deal with iQ 3 (home button shows homescreen of iQ 3 or the input if you turn of the interanl iQ 3) and iQ 4 (AM60) if they want to consistent use the iQ 4 of the AM60.Thanks!

dual audio output
I'd like to be able to have audio output to from both the built-in speakers, but also through an external speaker as well. The use case if for hearing impaired students in the back of the room hearing the same audio from the front of the room with a closer speaker. Currently, you can only have the audio come out of the board or the speaker, but not both at the same time.

SMART Mirror : Virtual Extended desktop
SMART Mirror application currently only supports screen duplication (mirroring). Our teachers rely heavily on the ability to use the interactive display as an extended second monitor (Extended desktop)
When brought up in a ticket and was told this "I can confirm that SMART Mirror should support sharing an extended desktop were it already available on the source computer."
The previous Bytello Share system had an option of using the smartboard as the 2nd monitor when casting to the board on the V2 & V3 Models

Customizable fonts for the text pen on SMART Whiteboard
Teachers have been requesting the ability to change fonts on the Whiteboard application. The reason being that students often become unfamiliar with the way to write big and small letters while trying to copy the default font of the app. This is especially true for a younger audience. Example font to include is the ''teachers pet font''. Attached is an example of this font

Pull WIFI and SMR enrollment account info from USB stick.
We are looking at he Smart SRM software. We need to add 3500 boards and another 500 each year as we evergreen. Having a quick was to load WIFI credentials and SMR enrollemnt account info in a quick and confidential method would be very benefitial.

Whiteboard Background Templates
The built in Whiteboard application on V4 is missing a key set of educational templates, specifically the sports layout (e.g., fields, courts) and music sheets that were available in the background options on our V2 and V3 models.

In the meantime, you can create custom backgrounds by uploading your own images. To do this, select Background from the lower toolbar and scroll down to the Custom section.
