1. Shout it out

   It should be possible again to send text with "Shout it out" resulting in a "standard" Notebook text object on the Notebook page like it has been with XC collaboration in the past.

   Teachers need to edit the input and copy/move the results from one Notebook page to another. Momentarily the text or picture objects are stuck in the grey "stage" of "Shout it out".

   These objects can't be edited by the teacher after the students have sent their text information to the Notebook page. If these object would be "real" Notebook text object instead, this would be possible again.

   Plus a teacher would be able to combine "shout it out" and the "concept mapping" activity of SMART lab. While in a "concept map" activity, students would be able to send their input via "Shout it out" to the Notebook page and the teacher would then be able to convert the input to a concept map item by encircling the objects.

   Like mentioned before in other postings, it should also be possible to send text and pictures at the same time (instead of choosing just one type).

   All these changes/ideas would be a huge pedagogical value for teachers and it is the #1 demand from teachers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland when it comes to "Shout it out" !!!

2. Notebook 17 closes when you open it.

   Hello, today I installed Notebook 17 on my computer (we are a reseller of SMART) to test Notebook 17. It started up, but then it also closes (see picture). Message is: The evaluation period has expired. Thank you for the evaluation off the smart notebook software of Smart technologies. Then it closes. The same happened to a customer of ours... Now 16.2 has dissappeared , so what to do. Reinstall 16.2? I have a valid key, and the key is also activated for 17.0 what is the solution. Install it again/remove?

3. I love the LAB activities, but the backgrounds and themes take up so much space that the images and text entered are small and hard to see.

5. Older Files generated with the toolkit can't be open. I can't make a movie with the movie recorder

   I can't open the older files generated with the activity toolkit. There is just a black box.
   The second problem is that i can't use the recorder to make a movie. All the time the Quicktime-Player opens immediately.

7. The new quiz show does not show up in 16.2 under lab.

   When I downloaded the new 16.2 the tutorial showed a quiz show option but it does not show up under the lab activities and it says I need a newer version of smart to open the tutorial page.

8. Big dots when grouping or exporting/printing

   I already noticed the problem in 16.1 and it is still there in 16.2.
   When I write on the board by hand and then group different elements, e.g. to shrink them or move them, I see big dots where they should not be. This also happens when I want to print pages or export them as pdf. Unfortunately it happens almost all the time and I have not idea how to prevent it happening.

9. error 1603

   during the installation of smart notebook 16.2 (the same by trying to install 16.1) i get an error message ... i can´t install smart notebook 16.2 on my pc ... look at the attaches file

11. Editting a MonsterQuiz activity makes NB 16.2 crash

13. General crash

    Since I installed NB 16.2, my computer isn't working properly anymore. Even if I don't start NB, it's very slow and I get "no respond" pretty often. I have to wait some minutes, then it's working fine.
    I'm working on Windows 7, 4GB RAM, 64 Bit, i5 Processor

    I have my activation key and it's activated on my computer. Still NB is showing me a "license" window. Is that part of the new beta?

15. Appreciate the SMART Notebook for Mac 64-bit application! Brighter, faster! Impressive.

    Top 3 favourite Fonts - easy to access. When creating new slides I constantly have to change the font and colour to my favourite for titles, favourite for body. Favourite for labels.

16. Game Show

    I am on Mac 10.11.6. Notebook version 16.2.2072.0
    The tutorial opened up fine. The Game Show will not work on this version on NB. See attached screen shot.
