Hello. This is a known issue with this beta release. Unfortunately, there isn't a simple fix so we recommend downloading the previous version you had installed. To download a previous version of SMART Notebook please go here https://education.smarttech.com/products/notebook/download. Underneath "Step 1 - Enter your key", you'll find a button that says: "Or: Click to choose a specific version of Notebook without entering a key". Click the version you previously had and download.
Later this month, we'll have the full release of SMART Notebook 17.0. You will no longer see this issue as it has been fixed. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
