Add Immersive Reader to IFP
Add Immersive Reader to the IFP. This would allow teachers to effectively utilize all of those terrific literacy functions with small group and whole classes who are not on Chromebooks.

Show actual ACTIVE pen settings
When you change the pen mode, it sticks to the change (as it should). But if you go back to see which one you have selected at the moment, it shows the default (regular pen thickness, black color), so users think they are stuck with a kind of pen or color they don't want anymore. You have to go change it on both pen style AND color in order to go back to normal or back to where you want.
It would be more straightforward if what you see is what you get. Please check on the attached video for…

Add a Compass Widget
I think it would be good to add a compass widget, ideally one that can be duplicated so some geometry proofs can be demonstrated on the whiteboard.

Export student completed slides into other file types
After students have completed an interactive whiteboard (either whole class, small group, or individual), I would like to be able to export their work in different file types.

Add the international phonetic alphabet to smartboard language options
I work for Tla'amin Nation's Education Department, and we use SMARTboards in our ʔayʔaǰuθəm immersion classrooms. ʔayʔaǰuθəm (pronounced Ayajuthem) is the language of the Tla'amin people and is written using the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). If IPA was available as a language pack to download, like English or Arabic or Japanese, then we could use the ink to text feature for ʔayʔaǰuθəm language classes, which would be so great!
You can find information about the ʔayʔaǰuθəm keyboard here: https://keyman.com/keyboards/fv_klahoose
You can find more information about the International Phonetic Alphabet here: https://www.internationalphoneticalphabet.org/ipa-sounds/ipa-chart-with-sounds/
Thanks!

Same tools in handouts, Lumio, and Whiteboard
When logged in to the board I am unable to demonstrate the use of the tools the students have on a handout, unless I plug my laptop into the board.

Customize Side Toolbar to Include 4-5 Favorite Pen Colors
I use lots of color-coding when teaching, so I change pen colors ALL. THE. TIME. I would love to be able to customize the toolbar (on the left side of whiteboard, Lumio, Smart Notebook, etc.). Specifically, I would like to be able to pin 4-5 pen colors and possibly 1 highlighter color to make changing colors less of a hassle.

More precise ruler rotation.
Ruler Widget is difficult to rotate. The ruler widget is great for straight lines, BUT it doesn't rotate easily to exact angles. My math department used it for drawing angles and is having a tough time getting the widget to be more precise.

I miss the erase gesture
As much as I like the SMART flat panels that we have added in our high schools, I miss the ability to erase the board by erasing a circle and then touching in the middle of it to erase everything that is circled that we had on our SMART projection boards. Is that an option moving forward?

More Whiteboard Export Features
The new whiteboard that replaces the Kapp app is lacking some features. For instance was it possible from the Kapp app on the smartboard to mail the whiteboard as PDF and every user that was connected with the APP/WEB had the option to download the whiteboard as PDF.
It would be great if the new whiteboard will also have this option, now the only way to get the whiteboard is through a USB device which is not great.
Extra export to Google Drive, Onedrive, ... would also be a step in the right direction.6 votes -
Text Pen: Change Default Font
Change the default font for the text pen. Education needs a font style that resembles as if a student/child is writing. This includes letters like a and q displaying as one would write. This supports both students just learning English (young learners, ELLs) as well as students with special needs (ie. Dyslexic). Much research has been done by Microsoft that you can pull from to find a better default font.

Save PDF (or Notebook) to One Drive / Google Drive
Many districts ban the use of USB drives, so users need a way to get the exported Whiteboard files from the PDF/Notebook format into a cloud storage solution (ie. Google Drive or One Drive). Making this seamless and easy would be a great addition.
