Make the Grid Feature for Lumio Page Resizing Optional
It would be extremely helpful if the grid that appears when presenting a Lumio lesson would be an optional feature that can be toggled on and off when needed.
Teachers and students often accidentally activate the 9 panel grid on the board during lessons which becomes confusing and alters the presentation. It causes delays during instructional time as you have to wait for the grid to disappear in order to continue with your lesson. It also affects the size of the Lumio slides that are displayed on student devices which cannot be reset during the lesson.

This is ESSENTIAL for students in Autistic Support classrooms. Many of our students with autism struggle with dexterity and motor control. When they are trying to interact with a lesson on the smart board they frequently change the size of the slide by accident due to the grid feature being automatically enabled and easily triggered. It's extremely sensitive to accidental touch. If they hold the pen and stand too close the the board sometimes it starts zooming in and out. Some students are fascinated by this feature and start playing with the depth of field and distrupt instruction. This feature has been so problematic that I end up making most of my presentations through Google Slides (which is a lot less interactive for the kids but way more user friendly).

If turning 9 times on when needed could be an option that would be AMAZING! Younger students accidentally activate this ALL the time and I would prefer not to have to resize the page particularly when I really didn't want it to change in the first place. Great idea and suggestion!

I agree! I work with many teachers who want their students to come to the board and interact with the activities but often give up after experiencing numerous frustrations related to this issue.

I agree that this is a feature that needs to be able to be turned off. It causes distractions SEVERAL times per activity and hypes up my first grade class with how annoying we all find it. Please fix this ASAP!

Sometimes those type of interruptions can cause a disruption in focus, so it's important to seize the moments when you can for as long as you can.
