SMART Document Camera Application
The SMART Document Camera application asks for permission to USB every time the application is used. Ideally, it would be nice to have a way to retain this permission and prevent this pop-up every time the application is used or switched back to.

WhiteBoard safe search
Could the WhiteBoard App have a so called "safe content" search? Now when you search for images or videos it doesn't filter out the content so that it wolud be suitable for children. And some of the content in the search is very "adult" and even scary for 0-7 year-olds. So some sort of enable/ disable funtions would be very needed! Now when you search for images you cant trust that the images are automatically suitable for children.

A customized Enterprise IQ.
We need a new IQ Design for enterprise. Customiezd with employes and hosts. Not students and teachers. Change the IQ Log in Icon from student to a neutral icon. its based on education.

Start Location of Page
Start from the upper left-hand corner rather than the middle. If a teacher needs more space, then zooms out, now the notes are in the center of the page. This makes it hard for students to understand the order of notes. Bring back ability to swipe left or zoom out to space that doesn't expand the left-hand border. Could also make this option to "flip" and keep right-hand size aligned for those countries that write right to left.
Or extend down like in notebook.

Music Staves for Whiteboard background
The whiteboard has several very nice background options, but it's surprising that music staves is not one of them. Music teachers would love you forever if that was included. Right now I have to use thin black paper tape on my physical whiteboard. The tape comes off. The tape breaks. You could make my life so much easier...

Add the basic line and shape tools from Notebook to Whiteboard
I would love to see the basic tools from Smart Notebook included on the new whiteboards. I want to be able to simply draw lines of various colours, add circles, hexagons etc and write around these lines and shapes. While I know I can mirror my PC to the whiteboard and use notebook from there like I used with my old projector, it seems like a step back to need to do that. The basic tools on whiteboard would be a solid and badly needed addition.

Schedule Updates via Smart Remote Management Job
Please let us schedule when to Update the Smartboards via Job in Smart Remote Management. We got more than 190 SmartBoards and we want to plan ourselves when to install the Updates. Installing by Hand is no option.

Pen support for specific Android apps
It would be awesome if SMART iQ™ could detect installed apps like Acrobat Reader, Microsoft Onenote, or Microsoft PowerPoint which are all equipped with a pen feature and then de-activate the ink layer of SMART iQ™ and select the pen tool in these apps as soon as the user grabs a pen of the SMART Board® interactive display. So basically the same behavior of SMART Ink™ on a Windows PC.

Increase segements on spinner widget
Increase the number of segments on a spinner. Ideal 26-30 segments. A teacher could then add all of their students names to use as a "picker" or include all of the letters of the English alphabet. This would widen the use and ability of the spinner. Right now feedback is that it is too limiting so they use other tools.

Start Location of Page
Update the "start" location of the whiteboard to be the upper "left" rather than in the middle. If a teacher wants to scroll / zoom / move for more space, then the content is not aligned to the left it is in the middle, not making for clean notes / easy for students to follow.

Options for Sharing Files to Panel
The users that I work with would love the ability to save Lumio or Notebook files directly to the Kapp iQ 'files' folder as a 'Board File'. This would be helpful when a teacher has to cover another teacher, so the lesson is already on the board.

Add capability to connect Bluetooth speakers/headphones
Teachers often use their panels for station/center activities. Many times, audio is included in these activities which can be distracting for others at different stations. While utilizing the headphone jack is an option, disconnecting the headphone jack on the back of the panel each time audio needs to be played for the entire class can get cumbersome.
Having the capability to connect Bluetooth headphones would allow students to participate in the station activity while not disturbing others with the audio from the panel.

Multiple ideas
Detailed usage logging with possibility to make exports, so that we can verify if the Smart displays are really being used when the room is booked for specific hours.
I see that it's already been asked, but the shutdown command would be highly appreciated so we can create a power schedule with time triggers.
It's currently only possible to sort by "Last Seen" would like to be able to also sort by "HardwareID" and "Name"3 votes
