Ability to embed a video & manipulatives with pop up questions & record of student viewing It would be helpful to be able to embed videos and manipulatives - with the added resource of pop-up questions to get students to actively engage with w/content. This would be a great way to track student use and access to resources. The ability to use video links from adobe, zoom, youtube, etc

Clear Lesson or Save Multiple Instances of the Same Lesson It would be nice to have the ability to "wipe" a lesson after you are done, much like cleaning the whiteboard in a physical classroom. I use the same lesson in multiple classes and I have had many times when important information (like the answer to a practice problem) was given away too soon because I had already written it on the slides during the previous class. Perhaps we can have a single lesson that saves multiple instances of itself for multiple classes? Teachers can select the lesson then select the instance they need to present!

More variety for game-based activities. I would like to see more variety for the games. Each category seem to have the same game, just with different scenery. Also, the match-up games seem to be designed for math only as there is not enough space to write words or small phrases, but certainly enough for numbers. I have seen some of the older ones in the Smart Exchange, before the updates, that were ideal, but when I uploaded them, they all changed (because they use Flash) for the new ones.

Be able to change the background colour of text box, independent of changing the text colour. In most software programs that I use, it's possible to change the background fill of a text box. I teach English as a Second Language. If I want to label vocabulary, it makes it more interesting to look at, plus it can also help me classify certain items of vocabulary. Visuals are extremely important in language teaching. I'm surprised you can't do this already in Smart Notebook 20. You will see in my uploaded file an example of what I'm looking to achieve. Allow Response sheets be available after the lesson has ended Response answers can only be viewed live- if teachers forget to export the excel file, they cannot recover these answers. This would be hugely beneficial for teachers to access results after the fact.

Adding a transparency feature for pictures. A transparency to a background is a great way to catch attention at the opening screen. Since this feature is not available right now, I am making the page on Smart Notebook and importing it into my lesson. ( There is an issue with the "Drop or click to upload file" feature below. Cannot upload Jpeg or png files. No clarification as to what files are supported)

Video and game setting options for teachers Currently when a video or game is uploaded into a lesson, these items are set for the student to access even under Teacher lesson pacing mode. Could a setting be added for videos and games that allows the the teacher to select one of two options:
Show on teacher device only

PDF comments If kids are being asked to make annotations or comments on a PDF, allow the comments to appear outside the margins of the main slide. Currently, they can only appear on the document, but I would like them to be able to move them around outside the margins as needed.
