When using Handouts it would be nice if students could type on their page instead of having to use the trackpad I would love to see widgets able to be used in SLSO. GeoGebra also!!

upload videos to Shout It Out...this would allow Ss to create a new level of eval in STEM activities In Makerspace, many things we create are moving or students like to explain their project. This will allow them to submit their idea and show the different levels of their creations or how it could work if we had the tools. For example, students created a hover board out of recyclable materials. A video would give them the change to explain all parts of it.

Predetermined start and stop sharing abilities It would be nice if the "stop sharing" piece was able to have predetermined start and a stop dates available. This would eliminate a teacher having to manually go and "stop sharing" activities continuously.

Please allow the ability to add a link (url) when creating Flip Out activity. It would allow students to go directly to a web site. This activity would serve as a choice board for students to access sites or files in Google Drive.

Have links go to students' SLSO accounts so they can open shared files at any time It would be easier for a student to work on a SLSO lesson outside of class if they could simply log in to Hellosmart.com and then have a list of the links that the teacher has shared. (for instance, the teacher shares a link for certain groupings of his/her students) I realize this would mean there would need to also be a feature to see and add certain students to "classes" or groups...perhaps an integration with Google classroom?

Italics support for referencing it would really help if the Smartnote book software eg in the gapfill quiz, could support the italic typeface.
When I am teaching Harvard referencing, the book title is always written in italics, as in this example
Dacre, K. and Fryer, P., 2008. Stanislavski on stage. Sidcup: Stanislavski Centre.
The italics on the title is important so I would like to provide the options that the gapfill can be filled with the title of the book, one in plain text, one in italics. At present this is not something which Moodle Quizzes support correctly so having a platform that can…

Allow Pre-set teams I'd like to be able to establish separate classes, and within those classes have a class list and pre-made teams. My students work in teams for the quarter and it is tedious to add them to the same teach each time we do an activity.
22 votesHi Tracy. Thank you for your suggestion. We will be adding support for multiple classes this fall, and we will also consider your suggestion of having persistent teams for our backlog.

Running 2 activities at the same time I would like for students while in centers to be able to work on 2 different activities at the same time. Such as one group on monster quiz and one a document that I created.
20 votesThank you for your suggestion. We may be able to support this use case soon with some of the work that we are doing around asynchronous lesson access for students. Stay tuned.

I'd like to be able to set groups on a collaborative work space activity instead of moving students around once they're put by the program. I'd like to be able to set groups on a collaborative work space activity based upon seating charts instead of random heterogeneous groups and moving afterwards. I like the heterogeneous groups for some activities but not all.
12 votesThanks for your feedback, Erin. We will consider this for our backlog. As a workaround for now, you can re-adjust the groups after the initial random set by dragging and dropping the student names. It is more cumbersome because you will likely have to do this every time.

Type response feature I would like my students to have the ability to type their responses.
11 votesThank you for your feedback. We have added the ability for students to respond with text for collaborative Workspace activities and will be adding the same feature for Handout activities soon.

Give the smarttech web version the same capabilities as the PC/Mac versions It would be great if the web-based experience is the same as the software download for Mac/PC. I don't want to have to switch between devices to use the tools that I use most frequently for teaching Math; Full Screen, primarily Writing/Erasing, no pencil icon moving with my writing, Erase capabilities should be the same also, I want to build AND edit on the same device.

A delete or trash can on regular pages. There is no way to get rid of objects on the regular lesson pages.
10 votesThanks for the feedback, Kate. We may be adding more editing functionality to the delivery experience to tweak the content. May I ask if the delete is for removing new objects created with infinite cloner?
If the page with the infinite cloner is meant as an activity, one way to deal with objects created is to explicitly convert the page to a Handout activity. Not only does this enable all students to interact with the activity, but it also allows you to reset the activity, thus removing objects created with infinite cloner.
