Word Cloud - Outside the Response Tool In the response tool there is a word cloud option. I would like to see it as a separate feature, like Shout it Out is, and where common words within short answer statements are counted as opposed to the exact match they need to be in the short answer option in the response tool.

Student Portfolio It would be great to have a folder system which Lumio can create from students who are logged into your lessons. What I would love to see is the ability to either used your devices screen shot tool or have a built in Lumio Screen shot tool to capture evidence of student learning in a handout and be able to drop it into an organized folder system in Lumio. Copy and paste for students, too It is so easy for teachers to use ctrl+V og ctrl + c for text and pictures. It should be the same for students. I t would be a GREAT new tool and will make a lot of students(and teachers) even more happy about Lumio.

I liked being able to split the circles and squares into the unit fractions and show the unit fractions on the fly in SMART Notebook. In SMART Notebook, I can add a circle or a square and then drop down to split the shape into equal units and I have the option to show the unit fraction in each piece. This is one of the best ways of teaching students how to visualize fractions. I would love to see that feature in Lumio.

Desmos activities I love that a few of the activities that I have already been using in Desmos have been converted into Lumio, but there are so many more great ones. I would love to have instructions on how to add them myself or place to request specific ones.

Thank you for the suggestion, Veronika. We'll consider this for future improvement of Shout It Out. As a current alternative, you can also use a whole-class Workspace activity to facilitate class discussions. Workspace activities give you more flexibility in how you can configure and run them in class.

Allow for audio files to transfer from Smart Notebook files!!!! Please please please allow for the transfer of existing audio files embedded in Smart Notebook files! As a music teacher, most of my Smart Notebook files have audio attachments (e.g. accompaniment tracks, primary songs, instrument sounds, etc) and they are not transferring over when I convert the files to Lumio. Alot of work went into creating those files, and I do not have some of the music tracks anymore. They are only accessible through the Notebook files. Groups and Whiteboards flexibility and intergroup use in virtual environment for thinking classrooms I be able to assign groups different problems.
2 have a feature that groups could visit other groups workboard - this is coming from a book "Buildilng thinking Classrooms" and the fact that I work in a virtual environment.

Create PDF files of completed lessons I often use Lumio to open blank files to fill in during a lesson. I post these lessons to Google Classroom after they are complete, but I must post links in a Google Doc. It would be great if there was a feature that would quickly allow us to save a pdf version of the current document that we could save and be able to attach a copy of the pdf for students.

Allow the teacher to join in as a student in a workspace Need the ability to join lumio as a teacher vs student so as a teacher I can join from another device (iPad) and write with an iPad on the slides vs stand and write on the smartboard. I need the teacher to control the smartboard from an iPad, move through the slides and write on the iPad so students can see in lumio. We have teachers that don’t want to have to stand and draw on the smartboard when very pregnant or have broken leg or other medical reasons they want to teach without standing and physically touching the smartboard.…

Please add a sound when the time runs out on the timer widget. I love the timer widget. But, it would be very helpful to have it make a sound when the time runs out.

Folders ON THE SMARTBOARD We need folders ON THE SMART BOARD to organize what is added to lumio- not to be able to organize in our google drive- we can do that already. When I open up the files on my board I have added from lumio, I can literally scroll for a half- hour to find a file. If it would let me add a folder- like it does if I'm not logged in to my board and just using/making board files- I could easily go to the folder that I created and find my file.

Add images from iPad It would be nice if I could insert images from my iPad’s camera roll when running a Lumio with students. When I create a Whiteboard on the fly, I can add text, draw and highlight, and erase. I’d love to be able to bring in a photo or access my camera to take a picture that would immediately drop in on the Whiteboard.

I need to be able to EASILY jump to the last slide I used in a lesson. One set of slides does NOT mean one day of lesson. P I need to be able to EASILY jump to a slide in the middle of a lesson. One set of slides does NOT mean ONE day. MS Power Point has a "Go to last slide " option when I reopen it. Need something like that.

select the google drive folder for saving We should have a file picker option for where the lumio file saves within drive instead of it going unorganized into "My Drive".
