Print annotations from Class Lessons
Ability to print annotations made in the Class Sessions. We were able to export the files from My Library to pdfs and print previously. Can this be added for the class sessions? This was a feature highly requested a few years ago and is needed to students with accommodations. The "share link" works to share with students in general, but it leaves out those that do not have internet access outside of school or those who need paper versions of completed notes.

Is there a way for Class Sessions to be optional for teachers? Many teachers like to make edits to their Lumio lessons live with the students, but this is not possible with the new workflow.

Save Annnotations
Lumio used to save my annotations so I could upload them as notes for my students. With the new "class sessions" feature, I can no longer do this.

Editing Active Sessions in Lumio

I'm very pleased with the progress you've made in Lumio, especially the new feature that allows assigning sessions to specific student groups more easily.However, a key feature has unfortunately been lost in the process: the ability to edit sessions that are already in progress—such as by adding new slides or activities. Drag and Drop Activity Reset
An option in Whiteboard for teachers and students to quickly reset activity pages like drag and drop would be incredibly helpful. Currently, teachers have hit the back button an excessive amount of times to reset the slide and/or delete all infinitely cloned images. Similar to the reset button available in game-based activities, this option would save time, improve workflows, and promote student independence when working on centers at the board.

If you are using the Lumio app (on the SMART Board) or the Lumio website to deliver your lessons, you now have a reset button that resets the page to the original state when the lesson was loaded.

Good news. You no longer need to reset pages or lessons manually. Lumio now creates a clean session every time you start new from a file in your My Library. Sessions with student work are stored in the new Class Sessions tab, allowing you to review the work later if needed.

Pop out window for audio recorder for students--don't block the whole window
Allow students to view the lumio while recording. Right now the the recording window blocks the window and can't move it and see what is behind it.

Thanks for your feedback, Angelica. We have added the ability to minimize the audio recorder. Students can do this by clicking on the minimize icon (a horizontal line) to collapse the recording window to a toolbar.

Can we add additional parameters to an object (e.g., infinite clone and only allow vertical movement)?
My students with their gross and fine motor abilities could benefit with some restrictions when manipulating objects so they stay in alignment.

Good news. You now have more options to lock objects to constrain the movement. For example, you can lock an object to only allow vertical movement.

Restrict the pinch to zoom in function so that students with fine motor challenges are able to complete activities without altering it.
I would like to restrict the "pinch to zoom-in" function so that students with fine motor challenges do not accidentally zoom-in during a lesson when they are using more than 1 finger to move objects on their screens.

This feature has been added as part of our advanced locking options. On selected item's context menu select "Allow Move" to make things movable but lock the size and orientation.

Recently Deleted Files
Have a space for recently deleted files to be held or recovered. If I delete a file accidentally, having a space that holds these files for 7-30 days. Allowing easier recovery.

My Library now features a "Trash" folder that will hold on to deleted files for up to 30 days.
(Note: this is currently only for My Library. Organization and Shared Libraries will get a similar feature in the future.)

Audio
I love that I can add audio instructions to the page but it would be more helpful if I could add audio to multiple places on the page or to the games along with the images or words. This could be so that the student can hear the proper pronunciation of a vocabulary word.

Try out our attach audio feature! It will allow you to record or upload audio and attach it to any annotation on a page. From an annotation's context menu pick "Attach audio" or look for the microphone in the toolbox to add an audio annotation.

Run Multiple Lumio Files at the same time
When starting multiple Lumio files in different browser tabs, a pop up with "Reloading page - this page will reload to match the latest view in another browser" appears - which didn't happen before. Could we have the option to not reload and have multiple instances of Lumio running simultaneously without matching?

Allow educators to have more than one Lumio lesson open at a time
Allow educators to have more than one Lumio lesson open at a time, so that we could be teaching with one Lumio lesson in one tab and editing the same lesson or a different lesson at the same time in another tab. Being able to edit or use more than one Lumio lesson at a time would be a gamechanger for virtual teachers!

Translation Widget
We would love a simple translation widget. We have a non-english speaking preschooler and it would be nice to quickly type in a word or small set of instructions and it audibly translate for him. We currently do this on our phones for him, but it would be nice to keep our phones out of the lessons!

Lumio works with Immersive Reader to provide translation support for text in lessons. Students can turn on Immersive Reader mode and select any text to be translated and read out by Immersive Reader.
